  • With the lyrics I'm thinking "OF COURSE that's what Luka and Miku are saying!"

But without the lyrics: "I heard nothing but DANCEHALL all epicly at the end." -_-'

  • challenge excepted!!!

  • @cobitslover *accepted

  • I think all the JPN vocaloid should go and learn English pronounce... -_-|||

  • @NikoJohnson69 Says the one who can't write in English correctly XD

  • Comment removed

  • @AzusaNakano0 You refer the "one", who is it? Isn't the lyrics writer or myself? >o<

  • @NikoJohnson69 I am referring to you. Obviously, English is not your first language, or you are not very educated. You shouldn't be criticizing someone about a language you can't even write properly.

  • @AzusaNakano0 I knew it, sorry about that. <:(

Please don't blame me, blame our country government. And I will work harder to making my grammar better it. Also I wasn't living in US. Therefore, As a matter of fact, I am Malaysian Chinese. :)

  • @NikoJohnson69 Crypton is already working on an English version of Miku.

  • ologramas always clear the des of sucreasion exist and with the help of a good program, a computer and a reflector or whatever is called sinseramente nose like but reflects graphically the Japanese olo which any person can Asher (of course co lor all men resources sionados). In a report on what she heard singing q q q is the cansion sings it (wolrd is mine) it's like to sing q shakira sings what the computer tells you.

  • I want luka's outfit T.T

  • I would like to see them acutly dance this.......-.-"

  • @Raenoleah1014 I thought so at first, but it sounds more like two people are singing. Also, if you click the video in the link and watch it (I skipped to it), both of their mouths are moving in the dance. She did have some of her English voicebank worked out at this time, because she did address the crowd and introduce the band. It still isn't complete, so she probably only backed Luka. I'm pretty sure there are moments when it sounds more like it's Miku…but I could be wrong.

  • @MonochromeKokoro When Miku spoke english, she was using her Japanese voicebank.

  • @TheInternalVirus I checked out the Vocaloid Wiki (confused myself) and it said, "On July 2, 2011 a Beta version of Miku's English voicebank was used at the "MikuNopolis" concert in Los Angeles. It was used to enable Miku to address the audience and, with Luka, perform World's End Dancehall with English lyrics." I mean, I guess the Wiki could be wrong, too, so I don't know.

  • @MonochromeKokoro I'm pretty sure the wiki is wrong. If her official English voicebank was the one used in the concert, that's just sad. It still sounds like Engrish and sometimes it's difficult to understand what she's saying. I highly doubt Crypton would allow her English version to be that crappy :P

  • @AzusaNakano0 Whether or not she actually uses her English or not (as people try to convince me), it would've only been roughly 40% completed at this time. That's why it sounds like Engrish, as it isn't near completion! (Or…like others say…perhaps it is just her Japanese voicebank, but I personally don't think so.)

  • @MonochromeKokoro If you check that part of the wikia, it doesn't have citation. Meaning it's not proven and is highly unreliable.

You can tell it's her japanese voicebank when she says "Thanks" (pronounced as Zanks) and when she says "the".

  • @TheInternalVirus You're right about not having a proper citation. Like I said, it was highly likely that it was wrong. Yet, it can't be denied that her English voicebank was at least 40% done at this time, because the demo showing it's progress (May 28th) had already come out before the MikuNopolis concert (July 2nd).

  • @MonochromeKokoro It can't be denied, but it can't be proved either. Making it just speculation on your part.

The little english they spoke were short and simple sentences that could be very easily done with her japanese voicebank. There's also no way they would allow the use of a highly incomplete and unreliable product in a concert.

  • @TheInternalVirus That's true. Whoops. But, back to the initial question - is Miku even taking part here or no? It does sound like someone is singing with Luka, but I haven't found any confirmation if it's just Luka backing herself (because this is the audio from the soundtrack) or if Miku, in any way, was singing behind her.

  • @MonochromeKokoro I have my doubts. I do hear a second voice (aside from the echo), but not during the entire song. Perhaps it's Miku, perhaps it's just a second Luka to accentuate some parts. I honestly have no idea, and I've been trying so much to replicate this song in vocaloid with no success.

  • I.......I......I wanted to be there. I wish I knew soner T-T I would have been one of the first people to buy tickets

  • i was there!!! I WAS THERE!!

  • Ah! They used Miku's English voicebank! How did not know this!? XD

  • @MonochromeKokoro I think this is just Luka...

  • in your description

  • soo... excuse-me but the "full concert" from justintv etc. that is from los angeles?

  • @jackestripador01 Yes, the link in the description is for the full Mikunopolis in Los Angeles concert.

  • it breaks my heart that i lived to far away from california to be able to go TT_TT

  • this is win.

  • I saw this concert. e ue

  • @ChibiVamp232 so did i. e w e-b

  • MWHAHAHAHA! To all of those who werent there, it was freaking awesome. The crowd that turned up was great, and the performance, as always, was AMAZING! That was the best concert I ever went to, and I went to Paul Mccartneys last concert, so thats saying a lot.

  • Vocaloid Concert in Chicago. It's needed.

  • @4evercupcakesxoxo D8 I'm so with you! I live in Missouri but I can drive to Chicago atleast. *cries*

  • @4evercupcakesxoxo hell yeah girl!

  • If it's possible, could someone tell me where I could download these songs? I found them on youtube, but I would love to listen to them on the go :D

  • @Ubateyman16 youtube-mp3(dot)org :)

  • @Demonocityy Thank Y ou Very Much :D

  • i like but its still really hard to understand.

  • *epic voice* Dancehall

  • I too listen a second voice singing. I recreated part of the song using the WED vsq with Miku's engrish. I can swear that they sound identical in the following parts:

0:38 ~ 0:44 , 0:49 ~ 0:53 , 1:06 ~ 1:10 , 1:11 ~ 1:17 (dunno about this one, it kinda sounds like Miku at first but starts blending with Luka's voice) , 2:02 ~ 2:24 (I am positive that both Luka and Miku are singing at the same time here.) and 3:21 . It may be a weird edit on Luka's voice, but I couldn't make her sing like this.

  • Miku is singing. I've heard Luka's english version on NND and there is another voice, no matter how quiet it is. The easiest way to tell is Miku's "い" sample. I'm not sure I believe that it's a beta of english Miku though, but it could very well be, seeing as other demos had Luka's voice mixed in there for Miku's missing english sounds.

So this is either a duet between Luka and Japanese Miku, or Luka and a MikuLuka hybrid.

And Miku's the one who said "Dance Hall" or rather "dense hole." :U

  • AGH!! i wish i could get the part luka says "world's end dancehall" as my ringtone!

  • ... Alright, since I must know and someone must ask... Where may I download this and other songs from that concert (and others)?

  • I Freakin hate california how come they are the only one's with vocaloid concerts

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva I dont know but I flew from Texas to go to this concert and not to make u mad, but it was FREAKING. EPIC :D

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva

it has the biggest anime con in the US, so it makes sense they tested out the international concerts there

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva Well, Toyota wanted to debut Miku to a big crowd. Los Angeles has Anime Expo. So, if you think about it, a concert at the largest Anime convention in the USA, which is in California, would be the best place to have her first USA concert. >_>

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva ...Troll lol lol. >D -even 'tho I didn't go-

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva U mad?

  • @NaokaXLen4Eva I KNOW WTH :U!!!!!!

  • @blue6803 STFU bring this to europe she better sing at london 2012 im gonna book tickets if she goes there its only 1 hour drive for me!!! :D

  • @MASTAVASE lucky -3-

  • SO CLEAR! I CAN UNDERSTAND HER! <3

  • This was the second-biggest gaff of the concert. Everyone went DEAD silent because about 90% never heard the english version before. Plus they were thinking it would be a demo of Miku English Version, but it turned to be only Luka singing and Miku faking it. I say it's the second-biggest gaff because the outfits make up for it. Also two Wowaka tunes in one concert is a big win for him.

  • @redemption2 Being silent during a song is not a sign of it being a bad concert.

The point of a concert is not to go to only see stuff already know.

Silence means they are listening, the applause and cheers come at the end, and naturally, they are loud.

Sure, the miku miming was a bit of a doozey, but still.

The official panels at the concert were actually surprised by how Luka got some of the best crowd reaction out of all the characters.

  • @TheMacroBlock sorry, not concert, performance* on that first line there

  • @TheMacroBlock

Luka popular over here because over her English I think.

  • @redemption2 Okay... where do I start... there are so many things wrong with this comment.... Okay Miku WAS singing at some parts, so she wasn't faking it. It takes a true vocaloid fan to tell the difference between two vocaloids. I won't even say the rest. This should be enough for now.

  • @lemondolly You can start by apologizing for your ignorance and your foolish statements. I work as a blog editor for a vocaloid community, and after much debate and research we found out it was indeed ONLY Luka singing. The WEDH English version was previously released to NND with Luka's vocals only, which is exactly what played here. Don't delude yourself into thinking that Miku actually took part in this, because she was only lipsynching.

  • @redemption2 I'm not sure if it's just me, but I hear another voice singing with Luka. I thought they were both singing, but since this isn't the official English Miku (and because her Japanese version isn't very good at English) they just had her singing quietly in the background. Again, maybe it's just me and I'm wrong.

  • @AzusaNakano0 I've heard three versions of this: one live, one from the nico stream, and this one from the CD. Sitting in the audience I only heard a very high-pitched Luka. So many people went silent in the audience straining to hear, because they thought this was the opportunity to hear English Miku. When hearing it on the stream, all I heard was an echo. The Vism team went back through to figure it out, and wound up agreeing that it was Luka's E-WEDH, without Miku vocals.

  • @redemption2 Oh ok. It was hard to tell hearing it live because the instruments tended to drown out the vocals sometimes. I wonder why they didn't have Miku sing =/

  • @AzusaNakano0 I honestly think they were supposed to. Onyx Koboyashi said there would be samples at the concert, which is what confused many people, because no one walked away hearing it. However, I think that wowaka was supposed to bring it with him, but his plane was delayed a full day (he signed autographs on Day 3, not Day 2 of the concert). Considering the issue, they pulled the track from the Luka E-WEDH version and adapted it. Koboyashi would think of something like that.

  • @redemption2 I'd like to listen to the one from the nico stream. Could you help me find it faster, please?

  • @TheInternalVirus Click the link in the description, the full stream is there :D

  • @AzusaNakano0 I already have the full concert video. Since redemption2 mentioned a nico stream I thought that it may be the same song but not played during the concert (in other words, another version).

Unless I am mistaking and it's just the concert streamed in nico?

  • @TheInternalVirus It's the same song, we were just talking about how different it sounds depending on where you hear it from. Hearing it live, from the nico stream, or from the CD (what this is from).

  • @AzusaNakano0 Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing it up.

  • @redemption2 Nope. :)

  • CONCERT PLEASE!!!!

  • @ElfenDamaLied28 1) Did you think this was footage of the concert? Because it clearly says SOUNDTRACK in the title, implying that there is only audio.

    2) If I upload the concert, it will be taken down and my channel might be taken down as well so I will not be doing that.

  • @ElfenDamaLied28 Go to Nico Nico Douga

  • @ElfenDamaLied28 Hi again. So if you look in the description, there is a link. If you click it, you can watch the full concert.
