I'm a Christian but I don't seek to make the laws of a country the laws I personally abide by, should I be killed? I would not want to live in the world before Christianity. For example, even in "rational" Greece they had many barbaric practices. The world was basically on a course of decay until Christianity came. Of course, the catholic monks kept the religion a secret until Martin Luther came. Then slowly the true meaning of Christianity started coming to light as a religion of compassion. However, It still has a long way to go before people understand it. I do credit it with saving the world.

I would not want to live in the world before Christianity. For example, even in "rational" Greece they had many barbaric practices. The world was basically on a course of decay until Christianity came. Of course, the catholic monks kept the religion a secret until Martin Luther came. Then slowly the true meaning of Christianity started coming to light as a religion of compassion. However, It still has a long way to go before people understand it. I do credit it with saving the world.

All elements are made up of atoms. Atoms are made up of Protons & Neutrons, how many they have will determine what type of atom it is. Hydrogen atom has 1 Proton & 0 Neutrons, Lithium atom has 4 Protons & 3 Neutrons. All atoms are made up of the same basic building blocks just in different combinations. So 118 combinations is not unrealistic.

1st I would say that it is true that one should not 100% exclude a possibly but in view of the overwhelming evidence disproving religion there is absolute no reason to suspect that a god or creator exists.
2nd Atheism will die when Theism dies not because it destroy it. Only knowledge can destroy religion just like knowledge did for atheists that were indoctrinated into religion. Atheism will die when there is not a need to deny a god and that will only happen when theism dies.

Theism is mostly in its vestigial, traditional form in the industrialized regions, not its charismatic, authentic form (which began to die out in the 17th C, as industrialization - despite its many terrors - advanced). Theism & even the Pantheon it replaced were state bureaucratic systems that themselves quashed local animist traditions that now linger only on the far fringes of jungles & steppes. Similarly, Theism will also fade away as industrialization continues to intensify.

Atheist already rule the world. They are just disguised as Christian Leaders. You know people like the Pope, the President, most Politicians and all Priests of all religions.
