  • ¡Perfecto!

  • ... if you'd rather listen to brecker, your loss.

  • no doubt that you can't compare either of them to trane.

    3 totally different approaches

  • I thought you meant James Carter. Being a James Carter video and all. :)

  • no doubt that redman and carter are up to coltrane´s level... but do not forget there was no coltrane when coltrane was learning.. .. anyhow.. michael brecker can kick this threesomes ass out jejeje

  • Trane learned from Earl Bostic. He's virtually unknown today but he regularly kicked Charlie Parker's ass at jam sessions.

  • @Euroflounder If this Earl Bostic dude was as good as you claim he is Charlie Parker wouldnt be regarded as one of the most innovative and progressive saxophone players of all time.

  • Square, if you think trane was the best thing that happened to american music! It'probably because he's the only musician you know of!!!!

  • I like this...

  • I love his sound. It reminds me of Sonny Rollins and Joshua Redman. This is what I want to sound like.

  • How does he get that growling sound?

  • Nice. Are there any other vidorecordings of Carter on former North Sea Jazz Fests?

  • Great!!!!!
