You shoud try interactive toys. There are toys you can load with food so they have to work at getting them out. It is mentally stimulating. This may seem harmless but it is actually very sad. Your dog is diplaying an unhealthy behavior. - I have been training dogs for several years and this is a sign that she needs more mental stimulation. Dobermen are really smart and if they dont get enough stimulation they display behaviors like this. Im not judging- just trying to offer some helpful advise
My dog does the same thing! Except mine scoots her bowl all around the kitchen, flicks the food out, then touches her head in and out of the bowl like that!
Guys thats not ocd, my dog has ocd and she does that too but i know exactly what it is, thats your dog trying to bury its food cu its not ready to eat it but is scared to leave it in case its taken away if you put a blanket near by the dog will pick up the blanket and do that with it over the food too. its like a natural instinct to bury it but dont comprehend they have nothing to bury it will. My dog will get so violent with it she sometimes cuts herself on things

@RayeDrgn haha no she's fine. the only time she shows this behavior is when she eats. apparently a lot of doberman pinschers have OCD
