It is unfortunate that in the U.S. it is no longer well-known or revered as much anymore merely because it's old. No. Its a classic. I'm 21, as old as the series itself and I am STILL in love with Kurama and proud of it. A few years down the line I will show my kids this so that YYH will continue to be revered. :) <3

Even though Yusuke is the main guy, I feel like Kurama was the true hero in terms of his compassion. Characters like Kurama and Goku are inspirational to me - even though they aren't real, they have such beautiful qualities that anyone should aspire to.

I've been watching Yu Yu Hakusho since I was in the 3rd grade.

I'm now a High School Senior about to graduate. This is still by far my favorite anime and favorite show; it really does transcend both gender and age.

Kurama himself is one of THEE most complex characters in the entire show. Yes he is smart, cunninh, graceful, sexy, cute, and nice. but that's the outside.
