to clear up the whole "africans enslaved each other thing", yes, it is true. however, those we were enslaved in Africa were usually always debtors or criminals. being a slave to someone in africa was like a prison term, after the person had served their time for their wrongdoing, they were released.

Look, I read on slavery and Jim Crow and do think that a huge debt is owed to Blacks. And I'm Caucasian. Recommended documentaries: "Slave Catchers, Slave Resisters", "Aftershock:aftermath of the Civil War" and the movie, "Black Like Me."

to clear up the whole "africans enslaved each other thing", yes, it is true. however, those we were enslaved in Africa were usually always debtors or criminals. being a slave to someone in africa was like a prison term, after the person had served their time for their wrongdoing, they were released.
also, i won't debate that africans themselves provided europeans with african slaves, but it was in exchange for the protection of their village (an oath that was rarely upheld).
