  • glad to see you get rid of that horrid numark ;)

  • In your video on the dn-x500 could you point out some things that x900 has that you wish the x500 did.... I debating on whether to go ahead with the x500 or save up for the x900

  • The only real difference between the DN-X500 and the DNX-900 is that the DN-X900 is digital. The DN-X900 also has a few more features that aren't as important to me, like a mic effect insert and zone outputs.

  • thanks for the help, I had a nice chat withh omega and he helped me clear alot of things up

  • I'm glad I could help. I'm always up for having a chat about DJ gear.

  • I cant say i have ever met a DJ who didnt want to chat about their gear! it's kiind of like rappers and their $250 sneakers and 22 inch chrome rims!!!

  • i have that same mixer haha

  • can you do a video on the dmx lighting control.. thanks dude

  • Sure, I'm trying to get an understanding of it first. Do you have any features that you want me to show?

  • A good friend of mine has that chauvet dmx light board you got.

    Nice choice

  • If you need a light, at Staples they sell $2.00 gooseneck led lights. I always have one with me and they clamp to anything.

  • Thanks for the idea. I will definitely have to check it out so I am not left in the dark.

  • Yeah man good choice to move up to the denon mixer it should make your music sound alot better

  • On the DNX 500 are the mic inputs xlr? Nice new toys!

  • The main mic is a xlr 1/4" combo input.

The aux mic is 1/4" input.

  • Hey I ran into that same problem over the weekend with the MIC, have to reach in the back to plug in everytime. So i just got a rack mountable wireless mic for guests (karaoke) and use the wired mic..but i have to plug it in blindly...What do you think about rerouting to the outside of the case by drilling a hole on the side? Or even taking up a 1u rack space ..

  • Good ideas. I will have to figure out what will be easiest for setup/take down.

  • sweet gear man, ur gonna love the new stuff...

  • It should be a lot of fun. Lots to learn with dmx control.

  • yea definitely, it will be worth the time spend on learning it tho, i guarantee it...
