that ace is a good shovel. i got one just like it and it is the longest lasting shovel of that size that i have used. most shovels that size snap after a year or so but the ace shovel has lasted me for five years. thanks ace for your good shovel!

Actually Roger..YOU have Jack LOL...But you're right...He hogged the day again LOL.But I'm not too jealous..If I would have hunted by myself, I would have left that place thinking there was'nt any silver there..He is thorough as well as Lucky LOL..He deserves the Kings postion..Because to be honest..He researches harder,and digs alot more than I do..Heck...I would have given up on several signals that he eventually pulled silver out of the hole..Lucky I get to learn from him

Dang Greg tore it up Dave. You had a good hunt also, but Greg did outstanding. I was on the way to some new parks to hunt the other day with Scott and got called into work. This job is putting a damper on my detecting. Oh, Scott found two gold rings in one hole a couple days ago. Next to a swimming pool where he has found a lot of them this year. THX DJ....GOIO Greg has been the luckiest $(^%^& in finding coin spills & Silver..Of anyone I've ever known..It's been a blast to hunt & learn soo much from him...I also know what you mean about having little time to detect..I spent my annuity money as down payment on a new house..Then had to put all the money I had saved 2 pay the 2010 taxes on my wifes medical bills (for Cancer treatments)..I spent most of 2011 working 6 days a week 2 pay...I will also do so 4 more years.If I can

@largeview ...The Ace 250 will make some awesome finds if you master it..Take a look at the older videos of someone I'm subscribed to (DaddyDigger1)..He mastered his Ace 250 and made some awesome finds.Then he moved up to the E-Trac..Give his older videos a look..then compare his finds to the ones he is now making with his new E-Trac...The (Old one knob Garrett Ace) was the one I started with & got hooked on detecting..look at a used White's XLT as well 4 intermediate users.

So how did you find this location.? Do you typically get some type of permission from owner in writing.? How do you determine what coins to sell and what coins you hang on to..? Really enjoy your movies, got me wanting to get out again..nice work.

@largeview ..If we research maps,and it is a large property ..Yes we would get consent in writting..Most of our detecting & research is done on public land, Parks ect. My partner Greg has sold a few rare high dollar coins on line..I keep all what I find,and most of it will be handed down..But I am getting ready to showcase a good portion of it. In a (poker room) downstairs.(Will make a video when I complete my ManCave).I have sold (out of nessecity over the years)..But not any more.

@MiWilderness ....I have several favorites..But three come to mind..My first Silver dollar ,or a rare 1896 O Barber Quarter in XF shape,or...A very rare (But soil corrosion & damaged) 1922 plain no mint mark wheat cent...I sold it to a guy for $75,and he got over $300 for it on Me Bay.
