  • LOL the guy recording was clearly running to change his pants

  • 0:21 Audition for a porno?

  • RAINBOW DASH HAVIN´ FUN?

  • Dear Santa...

  • they cant break the sound barrier or less they 10 miles away from populated areas or 60,000feet or higher or if theres a threat to america

  • *sniff*i think some one farted

  • youtube.com/watch?v=x6RvP7qD6YU compare the sounds..IDENTICAL

  • Def breaking sound barrier..if you watch all other videos on here of both subsonic and supersonic flight past people, there is a considerable difference. NO, people ears would not bleed either..may have a little temporary hearing loss, but no bleeding from the ears. You can also see this in other videos on here of supersonic flight.

  • @tribeisone it's illegal to go mach 1 over the United States unless in a state of emergency. So no it's not supersonic(mach 1).

  • @MonsieurDupre not 100% accurate...with this being in NY, there is an area that the military coltrolls that airspace and allows by special cerconstances to fly @ mach 1 or faster. This area more than likely is that airspace.

  • @tribeisone True the US government can do whatever they want on the private land they own. Saying that though this is not supersonic. The condensation around the jet lasts to long, meaning he's maintaining a speed right under mach 1. When an aircraft goes supersonic it's a quick flash of condensation.

  • Glass would not be broken when a sonic boom goes off... Mythbusters tested it.

  • @WEZDEZ303 NO WAY!

  • @WEZDEZ303 the pressure wave from supersonic speeds may not break windows but they can

  • I love how they clap like the pilot can hear them! LOL

  • Thumbs up if at 0:21 you realise that this is the same guy from double rainbow.

  • goodbye hearing

  • Sadly I got road killed. Stupid IR flares take for ever to reload

  • fuck that is incredible

  • Blah I'm 17 and French, can I become American next year and enlist in the US Navy?

Fuck this, fuck this, FUCK THIS

  • bf3 ftw

  • sounds like God farted.

  • 00:14-16 R.I.P headphone user

  • OhhMaiGawwwdz doubleee rainbow all teh way acrossss

  • oohhhhmaagoddd

  • man that would have been an awesome jet roadkill xD

  • im joing the air force now

  • @excision12 you would have to join the navy to fly the F/A-18C Hornet. Its the navy top air superiority fighter. Airforce uses the F-22.

  • I was there, this wasn't breaking the sound barrier. you would be deaf and the beer bottle in your hand would be shattered. this was the subsonic "vapor" barrier.

  • Its probably was flying at mach 0.7 because if it went past mach 1.0 (supersonic) you would have been deaf.

  • Holy sh*t, that's awesome!

  • Lmao at the camera guys reaction. Oh my god! Oh my god! Lol

  • I wish I could fly a fighter jet :(

  • 13 people lost their hearing lol :D

  • ooops....I meant taps....

  • Nice. He definitely had the teps open on that pass lol

  • "he went too fast" any1 else hear that at the end?

  • Def jizzed in my pants at 0:16

  • You know he got laid that night

  • @Thelinscho

Yea got that right :p , i love doing low passes espicially near the flags or just above a tank , so freakin awesome!!!

I like pretending to actually be a pilot !

  • That was epic

  • 13 people shit there pants...

  • asu putisimaaaaa madre amazing!!!!!!!11

  • awesome

  • BF3 <3

  • OH MY GOOD !

  • oh my god !!! ... oh my god !!! ...

  • Dear Santa, i know Christmas is over but think of it this way, you can just ride it to me (;

  • I say the same thing at 0:20 when I get to that certain point when your wanking.

  • there ears must hurt like hell for a week

  • Even though the sound barrier wasn't broken, that was still fucking awesome. I'll be doing that one day :)

  • lol like the piolet can hear them clapping!

  • THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME

  • did not!!!

  • Comment removed

  • tha air was heavy that day if felt like a slap in the face.

  • Bad ASS!!!

  • theres always that one person that does the signature whistle @ 0:21 lol

  • HOLY FAST!

  • WARP SPEED IS FASTER LOL

  • sorry but the plane was far away from soundbarrier: the hallow that we can see is air condensation; not created by the plane going at soundspeed.

  • @fuckyoutapette You are right, however imprecise: he wasn't "far" from the "soundbarrier" at all. This is subsonic flight, you're quite right(you could say trans sonic), but the cone forming around the plane is a shock wave by definition. Therefore mach .97-.98 in my estimation.

  • OHHHMMMMGAAADDD OMMMGAAADDD :)

  • OH MY GOD!!!! OH MY GODDDDD @___@

  • Voi jumalauata!

  • Please change your title...he did NOT break the sound barrier.

  • I would have laughed if he had broken the sound barrier, you would all be crying because you would be deaf, so the there's a wrong title ... Still subsonic flying but near

  • @hyrrokinfamily and if it was a b1 at supersonic his ears would bleed.

courtesy of the U.S. Air Force

  • @hyrrokinfamily Well I dont wanna start anything but since that was on the water it wouldent of broken the sound barrier if they were on land and did that all glasses and stuff would brake!!

  • @IIIKarmaz At such a low level, soud barrier would destroy any glass on a huge radius ... And like I said, people's ears would be bleeding, they would all be deaf, and they wouldn't be laughing at all ... Just subsonic vapor you can see

  • @hyrrokinfamily No you would not be deaf..... And yes he hit the Sound barrier as of sea level when you hit 700MPH you hit the sound barrier and i would say this f-18 went at 703MPH.... Become an f-18 pilot and youll learn

  • @madsl2000 You are certainly not a F-18 pilot and I shit on my pant if you were ... No he doesn't break the sound barrier, because like I said you would be deaf and your ears would be bleeding. Every glass would have been demolished too. And if you freak out because you see that cone shape of vapor, then you will learn later at school that it is called the Prandtl-Glauert singularity and this can happen way before sound barrier. So no, no breaking of sound barrier, and yes your ears would cry

  • @hyrrokinfamily Breaking the sound barrier is like music to my ears...If you think its too loud then dont go to Airshows. Mainly USAF Thunderbirds

  • @BlainePeacock ... Oh really man are you all dumb in there ? If you want to think that during airshows, planes break the sound barrier, then I don't care, dream

  • @hyrrokinfamily Go shit in your pants now! Cause i am an f.18 pilot and you sire! Need to go back to school

  • @hyrrokinfamily good try but that shock wave is him breaking the sound barrier, and if you've ever shot a rifle without ear protection you would know something breaking the sound barrier doesn't make you go deaf

  • @bmartin1492 I'm sorry but that shock wave is just water saturated air becoming rapidly compressed and thus turning the vapor into water temporarily which has nothing to do with the sound barrier. BTW it is illegal to go past the speed of sound without clearance and especially at low altitudes as the sonic boom from an F-18 is significantly louder than the sonic boom from a small bullet. I might know this because I have a BS in Physics or maybe because I am a pilot in the Air Force.

  • @thebestsumoeva well then there`s a shit load of videos on yt saying you`re wrong ....and no videos on your channel saying you`re rite ..... i call bs on your bs

  • @hyrrokinfamily oh and before you tell me I'm wrong and should go back to school because of the Prandtl-Glauert Singularity I should probably point out that I'm in Aero Engineering at Purdue, where we learn about these sorts of things

  • WooooooW! O.O

  • Subsonic. This is a video of a vapour cone.

  • Yeah...definitely enjoyed it however a number of people here are right. They are not allowed to break the sound barrier on any airshow. Great video though! :)

  • KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWM!

  • Everyone that says that that USAF pilot wasn't allowed to go supersonic over the land anyway is being retarted. That pilot wasn't over land. He was over the ocean. So stfu and enjoy. ; )

  • @TheLuke1729 It's not a USAF pilot, it's a Navy pilot, and he's still close enough to land that hes not allowed to go supersonic

  • HOLY FUCK

  • IT'S A SONIC BOOM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SKY!!!

  • did he jizz lol

  • *Facepalm* that was nowhere near a supersonic flight.

  • sorry folks but it is VERY illegal to go supersonic anywhere outside a military test facility and especially not in front of the public. Look it up bitches

  • @jordanmoran007 someone woke up on the wrong side of his mother this morning. dude, relax, it's a bunch of people experiencing something cool.

  • saw that transonic pass last time i saw the super hornet. it is appropriate to categirize as awesome

  • very very close but not super sonic sorry

  • the guy that keeps going "this is it" sounds like hes about to storm Russia.

  • ohh my, ohh my god -- sound like the guy just came on the beach

  • you can see the sound wave

  • Comment removed

  • not supersonic. that is near the speed of sound and an effect called Prandtl–Glauert singularity.

Most of those people ear's would be hurting and you would hear the "boom". Hit up Edwards AFB airshow if you want to see the only allowed supersonic pass on US soil.

  • @xcoaster1 the reason they heard the boom so quick was because the plane was close to them if the plane was a little higher and further away there would of been a delay

  • wait? was that it...

  • @SCtbf4 What were you expecting?

  • @blueb0g I was joking because he kept saying "this is it"...so now it's not funny. Thanks for making me explain *thumbs up*

  • Comment removed

  • this is it this is it!!

  • :O haaaaaaaaaaaa

  • The F-18 went subsonic that low, yet commercial super-sonic transport is prohibited across the US.

  • Look like he's going,

    Back to the future!

  • FiZzigames*

  • fake

  • @PRIVATEFBI your fake is fake :D

  • Dude, were u about to faint or something?

  • Where is the rainbow ?

  • When you get close to breaking the sound barrier you see that vapor effect, but when you break it your get a bang that would have really hurt all of those people's ears. This is not supersonic! *And I've flown F-18's before*

  • @JakeHolman78 and now you fly with YT

    Keep smokin the good stuff

  • @V2catapults I've never smoked any 'stuff'. And I flew 4 hops with a F-18 squadron in California during Midshipman training for the Navy. Went on to be a helo pilot.

  • AWESOME

  • tired of these Fuc**** ads popping up in every damn video WTF!!!!

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1 add blocker ftw

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1 yeaah! Just install Adblock plus (in Firefox) and your life will be better ;)

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1 install adblock for your browser my brotha

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1 - thanks everyone...that adblock worked perfect!

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1

get the adblock plug in for your browser.

  • @KAOTIKREACTION1 download Firefox and add the AD BLOCKER extension. I have never had an ad.

  • @EVERYONE - Thanks everybody...that Ad Blocker worked perfect!

  • pffff god bearers screw that

  • Not quite supersonic, but definitely very close.

  • Didn't break the sound barrier. That was just the engine noise, not the sonic boom. Pilots aren't allowed to go supersonic at airshows or over land unless they're in designated military zones.

  • @dman166 Glad some one else recognized that. Still cool none the less though.

  • @OhmsLaw76 Yeah, it's awesome. I love F-18 high speed passes. Awesome photo ops.

  • You would think......

They have done it in Oregon (supposedly not intentionally) and once >>Intentionally in Seattle. Awesome!

  • Dang god gave men that kinda ideas

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • warning.. heart attack after defecating in awesomeness

  • in veichle costruction, in the street we are the best....but in the sky you have not rivals!!! respect from italy

  • @LyricoAlchimista Italy we love ya too

  • wow that's fast

  • i think the sonic boom would have been much louder than that if it were truly mach 1. More like Mach .9

  • This guy has is pissed his pants ahahaha xD

  • holy shit

  • That was not God that was an F18 !

  • если бы он преодолел скорость звука на такой высоте то зрители лежали бы все с лопнувшими барабанками)) и это точно.

  • NOT supersonic, but nice flyby at subsonic speed.

  • @bsullivan161 that went about 1,354 and the sound barrier breaking is 1,234 so superonic

  • "And after the mind blowing show of stupidity, they all went home and smoked a bucket of weed..."

  • That pilot got right to the edge of it right where this camera was. The cone of visible water vapor was at the rear of the airframe as it passed by.

  • yeah that cone forms(at sea level) around 25 mph before sonic, they cannot, i repeat cannot go sonic below 35,000 feet i believe and they have to be 35 miles out to sea (those are older numbers they may have changed), the reason the noise is delayed is there soo close to the sound barrier the first few milliseconds have no audible sound, If u watch a true sonic boom video at low alt u will notice the sound taking a bit longer then that, the faster they go the longer it takes

  • You probably felt that in your chest!!!

  • best clip ever over and over

  • Almost supersonic but not quite. :)

  • Rainbow Dash can make it 20% Cooler :/

  • "SHIT-SHIT at 10 sec

  • @ehemeyer25

nah he says this is it this is it

  • @PotkuSilent Ohh i hear it now

  • not supersonic. This is a trans sonic pass. The vapor cone would have been at the very tail end of the plane. No sonic boom, a sonic boom actually is two bangs, one from the nose passing the sound barrier and the other from the tail doing the same. Close but no cigar.

  • Im not expert, but I dont think thats breaking the sound barrier. As far as Im aware, supersonic aircraft arent allowed to break the barrier because it breaks windows and wierd shit, like cows dont milk, chickens dont lay, dogs run away etc etc

  • @tomermoderchai you sure no expert! Read some wekipedia!

  • fucking amazing

  • thats awsome

  • lol thats not even breaking sound barrier. fighter jets are only allowed to break the sound barrier, only out at sea so they dont break peoples windows of peoples houses or peoples cars and it would also make my grandpa deafer then he already is

  • Sub sonic...nice vid though.

  • @bsullivan161 Na, that was a definate sound barrier break. Look at the halo, and how it falls behind the aircraft just before the boom. Not a whoosh, a boom.

  • oh my God, oh my God, oh my God

  • this is it guys

  • you guyz r stupid...

the frequency is so high that the camera cant catch the EXACT sound...

    it definetly broke the barrier..

  • He broke the sound barrier AS he passed in front of the crowd. The BOOM is very evident, as it sounded like a thunder clap. Also note: the condensation cloud from the sonic shock wave exits the airframe exactly as he passes the crowd...awesome timing on the pilots behalf !! Given that the camera is probably less than 1000 ft from the aircraft, the boom reaches them in less than a second. Well done !!

  • That was not super sonic. It was near the speed of sound but definitely sub sonic.

  • BOOM y di adios a las normas

  • cover your ears kids

  • That was no sonic boom. Jets are forbidden to break the sound barrier over populated areas or within 50 miles from an American coastline. What you saw here was the jet traveling below the sound barrier. If it DID break the sound barrier, you would see the plane first and you wouldn't hear the engines and the boom until AFTER the jet passed you.

  • @fumanshoo2 Exactly. And the "Oh my god" would likely be replace with screams of pain. Super sonic fly overs are an effective infantry suppressant.

  • looks doctored, there was no boom.

  • ohhh thats my awesome Jet Yo!!!!!!

  • mythbusters did the myth about sonic booms breaking glass and it was busted.

  • WOW!!! It is like something out of a sci-fi film.

  • fuck i got shivers, that was so sick
