"Hague spoke in the House of Commons against the government's plans to ratify the treaty of Lisbon without a referendum." And look how that turned out.
Gordon Brown will go down in history as one of the best chancellors Britain has ever had 13 years of growth ,low inflation, low unemployment and high in vestment in the National health Service .HIS ONLY DOWN FALL WAS TO BELIEVE IN THATERISIM THE BANKS SHAFTED HIM AND US.
William Hague is here in Australia at the moment. I have been listening to his speeches and interviews. He certainly has the gift of the gab. An interesting and intelligent man.
I carnt see why it's such a bad thing to share a room to save cash!
What is odd, that is not the reason given for doing so! Umm just "we should have realized it looked odd so we shouldn't of done". Why not?! If there is nothing to hide or maybe there is?!
The Tory film "New Labour New Danger" was slandered as scaremongering in 1997, yet the predicted shambles mostly came true.
And now there's another disgrace which even that black film didn't forsee - the better care and protection given to paedophiles even over British soldiers!
Paste title into bar: NEW LABOUR: PUTTING PAEDOS ABOVE HEROES IN THE WAR ON TERROR
I find it even funnier how Cameron had backtracked and broken his promises of the referendum, making himself and the conservatives look completely fucking stupid and totally undermining the Tory's main campaign against Labour.

This is the reason why people feel left out by their political masters. How can the listeners crease up with howls of laughter while Hague goes on and on about cr*p i will never know.
Hague is one of those guys that seem to inhabit Planet Div.
' And then the auful moment as the motorcade of the president of europe sweeps into downing street' Priceless, bloody priceless..... the sad thing is everyone, on both sides of the house, both sides of the atlantic and both sides of the globe can see what a total buffoon Brown is but he still believes he is a respected statesman......
Article 33,paragraph 6 of the Lisbon Treaty allows the 25 members of the EU executive the right (with only two exceptions) to CHANGE or declare NULL & VOID ALL rules/regulations/laws present in existing treaties relating to the ECONOMY ;TAX ;CIVIL SOCIETY ;environment etc.

William Hague is one of the best debaters of modern times. Unlike Blair, he can take criticism and jokes at his expense. I do not like the Conservatives, especially with David Cameron (aka Tony Blair II), but I dislike Labour even more. If Hague (or even IDS) was still leader, then I may have been tempted to vote Tory. I know IDS is considered boring, but at least he's a true conservative with conservative policies, unlike Cameron whom is Mr. Popular with soundbites.
I laughed out loud..so funny...so true! shame the PR guys tried to change his image when he was leader, they did him and us a great dis service as this man is probably the best prime minister we never had
lol if you read it right i said, ''this man is probably the best prime minister we NEVER had'' as in i know he was never PM but he would have been a great one if the PR men hadn't tried to create an image for him that was not for him and made him look silly.
Very well delivered, but I'm not sure I can see him as foreign secretary - his speeches are very witty, but I'm not sure about his political judgement. He missed his vocation as writer for Bremner, Bird and Fortune.
William Hague is hilarious! This is why he earned £1 million a year for his after dinner speeches ... I don't know he would have made a particularly good PM but we can hopefully all look forward to another 20 years of his performances in the House of Commons!
Very, very funny. And I wonder if, inside No 10, Blair's language would be as colourful as Brown's was, (reportedly)? ...
"When will you eff off?"
Perhaps the "President" will deliver it in 27 languages.
William Hague is a very good parliamentary orator, and always has been. But even HE said it did him no good against Blair. As for Brown - knowing your limitations is useful, as is recognising a worthy adversary.
EASY PEASY, eh, Mr GB/PM? Leading a party and a country?

I don't really trust the Eton educated, spineless son of a financier (Cameron). either.
Hannan actually has his own ideas, Cameron is a fickle face for the masses, vomiting out his intolerable soundbites. Nothing of substance.

Red raven, you're right - I'm just so exhausted with the secret family court fiasco.
I shouldn't have said that, I'm sorry I did.
But I had 7 years of the secret family torture chamber family court and I am very very tired and sad.

William Hague was never Prime Minister, he was elected leader of the Conservatives in 1997, the same year Labour won the general election.
