this ad convinced me to try a coathanger since before i thought i may damage the sink... worked a dream :) my problem wasnt to do with hair though and so im not even sure if that flexi snake would have been able to deal with it :D

I used to have a slow bathroom sink and tub. I bought an enzyme draink cleaner at Home Depot that I used for 3 nights straight. Then I started using drain screens for the sink and tub. These little round screens catch all the hair and soap scum. So I just clean them in the waste basket after every shower. No more slow drains!

put screens in your drain hole and get rid of your garbage disposal. Ive been using screens and no disposal for years and havent had a clog since. If you dont put food down your drain. it wont clog. Period... I keep a empty coffee can for food. When it fills up. you toss it in the trash.

Or you can just put it in the garbage in the first place; that way you don't have a coffee can full of rotten food.
