IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SONG OF RD BURMAN. THIS WAS ONE OF THE FEW MOVIES IN WHICH RAJESH KHANNA ACTED IN LIGHT ROLE LIKE SACCHA JHUTA, THE SONG WAS REPEATED IN 2002 MOVIE DIL VIL PYAR VYAR THE MOVIE DEDICATED TO RD BURMAN.
" Baharon Ke Sapne was shooting in black and white except for this part (song) in colour ..Kya Jano Sajan..Salute to late Pancham and Lataji forthe haunted song...
This composition is VERY reminiscent of Salil Chaudhury style, without taking any bit of creative prowess of RDB, its one of the most melodious he has composed.
The most interesting feature of this song is that RD Burman was the first to create this re-recording of Latajis voice in place of violins in the second part of every anthra...Absolutely awesome!!

Hi Mohit i know that you are saying the correct, that art should be change as per generation, but you know the change always should be good than the past, then only art can grow, now u just read this and tell me is this for good ? ?? ?
baadal chandan bijli paani jaisa aapna pyar.. lena hoga janam hame kai kai baar !
paapu can't dance saala!
can you plz explance what is the change and if its good for us
i don't know were the music gone form the songs of these days, this Himesh, aatif etc has messed the music they only know glamor thats it. now this is called music from bottom to top every one made effort then we get this song
You are right at your point that old songs are best even today. But art is something which always keep changing as time goes on. So I don think latest bolly music is some messy affair but rather an experimental new concept, take examples of SEL, AR Rahman, Amit Trivedi etc.
as SUDHIR MISHRA said that everything OLD is not clasic. while pancham & other musician very on top & appriciated by public in mid 70 & 80 at that time veteran musician like anil biswas used to criticised pancham. so it's circle of life. my grate grand father criticised my grand father & he crticised my father & he crticised me.
What an awesome picturization. Wow. We dont have such picturizations today. Bollywood had great actors, singers, music directors . Today only sleaze is there in bollywood. no quality.
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL Rahulda!
