All you old guys should get up and do something to promote music, culture, and make sure the memories of what mattered in those does doesn't get lost. Just a thought.
@newyorkmilkman Sorry for my extremely late reply, I only just saw it. There is no name for the piece, it just seems to be a different take on the B-side of Tubular Bells. This is exactly why I love it: it hasn't been recorded elsewhere before. Not much of a help, I fear...
What? No Piltdown Man?! That I would have loved to have seen.
Any ways, these concerts look like they would have been fun, with the paper airplanes and the disco. Mike seems to try to put on an entertaining show, which is important, as it's hard to do the kind of music Mike does: the potential for boredom is huge. Mike avoids this, and thus, he's great.

@TheDekstro
I'm afraid he died recently. A great loss to percussion. The stuff he did with gong is unsurpassed.

From 5.08 onward, I mean. The best part of the whole double album (as they were called in our days), and not to be found on any other medium.

@Maxiclaudi totally agree!

And Pierre Moerlen is in his element too, it seems.

Agree, agree, agree. This is marvelous. Mike Oldfield is, for me, the one and only guitar genius.
