The picks aren't made to make you better. They are just simply an improvement on a simple design. Much like a better quality violin bow. The bow wouldn't make the violinist, but it's not a bad idea to splurge once in a while. Naturally, one should still PRACTICE. --This is a message for all of the skeptics. the only thing these stupid things do is help you hold onto the pick just a LITTLE bit better. and if you need to buy a pick to help you do that you dont deserve to hold a guitar.
im just saying that a pick really cant help all that much....its just a pick. just by buying a pick you wont be able to play like the persn in the video.
all it is is some grooves on the side of the pick....most picks already have that.
it just seems like people are assuming that a pick can make you play just a well as the person in the video regardless of how long you ahve been playing.
While it's true that a pick won't alter your personal skill any, trying to put down a quality piece of gear seems a little inane. Picks alter tone quality the same way different woods do; it's all about the subtlety you can add to your own personal skill and taste.

Apart from the grooves, it's over-moulded with rubber... I take it you haven't tried them yet otherwise you would know that...
