@daantjede12e I agree!! I was the other day at the store and every single computer (screen or tablet PC) with multi touch Surface Pack (Windows 7) showed the same lag. It does not seem to be the hardware, but the software behind. Anybody knows if that is just a setting/requires calibration or something else? (I was thinking to get one...)
@daantjede12e It is definitely possible to lag in artrage if your machine is of a little lower standard, or if you're using a higher resolution or canvas size. Artrage generally was not optimized for such a setting, and that is a common problem with many illustration software due tot he fact that they don't take ahold of the system resources they need.
I don't think so. I think these screens just read touch sensitive jesters based on small sensors built into the sides of the screen therefore plotting the vectors of what is moving and therefore calculates that as input. I'd be shocked of there was pressure sensitivity at that price.
The screens arent touch or pressure sensative. Hp Screens have a very very small sensor wrapped around the threshold of the border of the screen. which reads and interprets your location on the screen in ratio to the edges of the monitor. You dont even really have to touch the screen to get it to register just be close enough for the sensor to think you are touching the screen. Next time you go to your local computer store see the hp screen. Look close around the inside of the monitor edges.
So is this screen also *pressure* sensitive? With that real brush can we paint lightly and firmly and have the software respond like on my Cintiq at the studio? I can't afford a Cintiq at home but this sounds more affordable if it has that kind of capability.
Artrage 3 pre-release as seen here. Most consumers can afford but all of this touch screen technology most consumers will never see any time soon. Bring the price of these screens to 3-400 $ for a 17" then many could be persuaded to buy.
i can't it download wat's the name of that program?

This whole computer is a huge fail. There's lag in ArtRage, how is that even possible?

I'm the artist doing the drawing in the video, so here are some answers.
It's a third party app called ArtRage. It's not included with anything.
The app works with a tablet and touchscreen.
It's not pressure sensitive with a touchscreen.
I'm just using a regular brush I bought from and art store. I could just as easily have used my fingers.
Here's a demo I did on my designsym channel on an HP TouchSmart screen, which is affordable.
