@Swingpilot86 Just because the general Coast Guard and Navy Seals train together does not mean that the Coast Guard is any where near the same level. Granite, There are men in the Coast Guard that are definitely close in "greatness" as the Seals, but generally when one thinks Coast Guard, they probably aren't at all thinking of some elite force..

I love how people are surprised to find out SEALs and Coasties actually get along quite well.

One of my friends, God Bless him, may he return safely, is a SEAL. When someone bagged on me for being Coastie, not even knowing I was LE, he looked at the guy, shoved his trident in his face and goes, "Look, I'm able to do my job, because I have him (pointing at me) doing his job here at home, so I don't have to worry."
