  • I grew up in the 60s and this has to be his GREATEST SONG of all the songs he ever sung love it and his music. Im canadian and when i heard this for the first time i almost cried could not believe somebody could write a fantasic song like this and i give him all the credit for singing this song brings back i lot of memiores .

  • i'm a metal head all day. but i fucking love this song

  • @tegeirsagent You have to be on drugs. Both Bushes were 2 of the finest presidents this country ever had. Yeah, I know...all you burnt-out hippies are gonna lay into me, now. I suppose you think Clinton and Barrak were/are good. You shit-kids don't know nuthin. Join the Army or Marines and you might change your mind. They probably wouldn't take you anyway. No queers.

  • Bungles the Clown at 1.47 minutes should have been tried as freakin war criminal who invaded Iraq for no reason whatsover.

  • The dude at 2:00 minutes should have been tried as freakin war criminal who invaded Iraq for no reason whatsover.

  • The video is somewhat wrong about the term Skypilot . It came from the Joe Hill song "You'll have pie in the sky when you die" which was about the Salvation Army during the early labor movement. It wasn't until after this song was released that we started calling chaplains skypilots up until that time they were just "Holy Joes" P.S. the only way you could hear a song like this in Viet Nam is if someone in your unit brought it with him from home 1st/503rd PIR 173rd Airborne 69-71

  • @hreed62 - The first time I played this single in the 1960's my father who served in the 2nd world war told me that was what the chaplains were called in his day-he should know-he loved the bagpipes. I thought a sky pilot was a pilot-thanks to him i knew better.

  • @bronsonski52 A 1921 silent movie about a minister was called "The Sky Pilot" further proving that this term was used well before vietnam. Also interesting is that the single " Sky Pilot" was the first single made in stereo. I also remember this song being banned in New York. A great war protest song showing the hypocrisy of religion-THOU SHALL NOT KILL.-as related to chaplains blessing soldiers.

  • i LIKE THE SONG BUT I HaTE THE AEMRICAN BULLSHIT

  • " Only the dead have seen the end of war."

  • "Only the dead have seen the end of war."

  • Thank you for keeping this video going. Wondrous song.

  • I had two School Trained MOS' in the Army 80-83 MP; 85-88 Chaplain Assistnat and then back to the MP's 88-89. I NEVER HEARD: SKY PILOT as pertaining to Sky Pilot, sorry not so, maybe an Air Force unofficial Designation, or an Airborne nickname but it was not known to anyone I served with! Good song and video. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

  • @FormerMPSGT I grew up in the 70's. Quite a few of my familys friends were in Vietnam. They told me stories, horrible stories. They referred to their army chaplains as "Sky Pilots". This was not said in a kind way. As far as I could tell by the way the said it and some explainations some gave it was not a term of endearment. The closest equivalent would be like referring to a african-american by calling him the "N-word".

  • taking this time to thank all veterans and all serving in the armed forces, it is because of you im typing in english, and ole glory still waves high thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Chaplains, called Sky Pilots, never knew this. Just loved this song. Its sad and pungent. I remember when we had the Vietnam War. It was one of the most scary times in my lifetime. The boys were so upset about the draft. Hoping that their draft numbers never came up. It was hard times in more ways than one. All wars are hell. I have friends that would never talk about their experiences in Vietnam. My dad was in the Korean War and he said it was hell on earth.

  • Thanks for all your kind comments, I am surprised how a song can transport us through the time-tunnel. Hugs oscarelmexicanopics.blogspot.com/

  • @oscarelmexicano I love this song...it does have the power to bring us together and to remember.

  • Listened to this song when I was little with my dad. Good memories evoked by a good song :) To all our soldiers who died in the wars faught over the years, rest in peace. Lest we forget

  • gold

  • Oscarelmexicano, this is a song from the late 60's, I believe 1968. Vietnam protest song.

  • Nice job Oscar.

  • we did reach the sky but we couldn't stay there for long..

  • dejate llevar por la musica y piensa con claridad

  • I love 60's music. I'm not from that era but I still love the music. (OK I was born in 68) Sky Pilot is my ultimate favorite,I used to listen to my stereo for days on end and this song came on maybe once every 6 months or so. I didn't buy the cassette(see, that dates me huh?!!) cause I wanted to keep the excitement I felt everytime it came on. This song still gives me goosebumps!! Thank you to all our vets alive and gone and thank you to our military men and women. Thank you to the families too

  • i think you will find it didnt get played as it was classed as ANTI VIETNAM,,,,,but it was so good it got massive attention in uk ,,erics alive n kikkin ass still ,,,newcastle brown ale ,woodbines,n geordie lasses what a combination lol ,,,HOWAY THA LADS ,,WHY AYE HINNY PET MAN ,,XXX

  • @honkydudeman "Och Ay Wha Hae!

  • by the way, his last name is spelled BURDON..not BURTON..

  • yeah, this told me my grandfather. i am from germany, and he told me, anybody has the same worth and no one is better because of his national identity. we all know that blood is red anyway. give peace to all people

  • This song is really about the Slimy, Murdering, Religious Hypocrites who pompously give their blood soaked blessings to members of the Empire's Tribe to go out and murder other people. While on the other side you have their hypocrites giving their tribal sheep blessings to go and kill and destroy. Gov./Organized Religion are the 2 biggest scams ever invented to keep us submissive. Time to "Wake the Fuck Up" USMC "65-'69

  • The long version should be the only version allowed to ever be played......

  • @mpsicily I remember running out and buying a copy of the two sided single because the AM stations of the day would never program such a long song.

  • Truly one of THE great pieces of music. It never fails to move the soul. Thanks for posting the long version.

  • Quitcherrbitchen and listen to the song.

  • We and only we can end all wars by changing the way we all think.

  • hay una version en español de piloto espacial de eric burdon y la toca el toncho pilatos grupo de rock mexicano y si alguien la tiene la podria subir

  • Thank you Rev. Burns for this video.

John Lennon sang about peace in "Imagine" but, then he was a dreamer.........

For as long as the human race with its multitudes of political, financial, selfish, military, and religious agendas exists, there will never be peace.

Just a former GI, US Army 1969-75, USAF 1975-79

  • @WashPCC Thank you for your service to our Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. We owe you a great debt of gratitude. Happy Independence Day.

  • @WashPCC

"They may say, I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." ;3

  • @WashPCC Thank You much for your service and God Bless You. As one who would know...Freedom Has To Be Bought and Paid For At a Steep price. We do not have and enjoy the Freedoms we do by just extending a hand. Sadly it doesn't nor will ever work that way (not by man's hand anyway). Happy New Year.

  • @WashPCC "Only the dead have seen the end of war" - Plato

  • @WashPCC

I believe, sad but so true.

" BUT " Thank - you for what you did for your country and for all of us. You sacrificed and gave so much and some of your Brothers & Sisters in Arms paid the Ultimate price. May they rest in Peace.

I'm from British Columbia, Canada and am Coast Salish. Our way of showing respect is to raise our hands upwards to the Sky, palms up. You Sir, have my deepest respect. Many, Many Blessings to you and all who served.

  • @WashPCC As a former drop-short, 2/3 Fld Regt. I read in the 60's that two US students for their thesis at Uni collated human history as far as they could go and found,

In all of mankinds time on earth, there has been 22 yrs of peace, the rest killing and fighting wars.

  • @WashPCC Thank you for your service.

  • Great old tune but a stupidass hippy video.

    War for oil???

All my brothers are Nam Vets and my great-granfather was a teenager during the Civil War

Now we have hippies trying to run our country and on this Memorial Day they close their eyes and pretend Pearl Harbor and 9-11-2001 never even happened.

Only a fool just sits and smokes weed and gives up to the enemy.

Ship of Fools applies to YOU.

    R.I.P. Kermit Cooley

  • @JAHISRAEL we should have exterminated the hippies back when we had a chqange

  • @Bag0fRats Yeah I could not agree more,,,,,,Now these cocksuckers are our current crop of "Political Leaders" however the term "Leader" in describing them is really misleading..

  • @JAHISRAEL i'm a hippy i smoke grass i play guitar, but you think i dont remember what happened on 911 or december 7th, you think i didnt feel the same rage as everyone else did on 911, i hate to tell you but your wrong, i love our military i wish i could join unfortunately ive got some illnesses that prevent me, but i think its wrong for you to put all hippies in the same category, ill fight for what i believe and i dont try to run anyone we all live by a code of ethics and their all different

  • Its not a 70's Songs its a 60's

    With Eric Burdon

  • when im sitting in a bus going to paris island i will not think of these songs ill think of those brave souls who rode on this bus before how many came back alive and how many did not may they rest in eternal peace all hippies should be ashamed of spitting on those soldiers returning from vietnam and the wars of today

  • Vietnam comes back to my mind everytime I hear this. This is a great song.

  • i flew pretty high at the time.

  • As a 9-year old in '68, among friends in SE MI, we'd hear this music as it was being piped in through the rinky-dink (24 lanes) PA at Shelby Lanes in Shelby Twp, MI. Actually, it was still Utica, MI at that time. Saturday mornings, the Bantam League...starting at 9 am..."Start your LEAGUE bowling!"

  • the best way to download this mp3 from youtube is to google mp3iiffy.

  • the best way to download this mp3 from youtube is to google mp3iiiiify.

  • Eric BurDon.

  • Well not quite a '70s song, it was released in 1968. Creeped me out seriously as a kid this one. This was Eric Burdon's magnum opus.

  • Well not quite a '70s song, it was released in 1968. Creeped me out seriously as a kid this one. This was Eric Burdon's magnum opus.

  • Well not quite a '70s song, it was released in 1968. Creeped me out seriously as a kid this one.

  • When will humankind ever learn peace and understanding is more sacred than war! Organized religons and geography are why we have wars. Thou shall not kill, sky pilot. Mothers and fathers back home will cry forverver . Pray for peace.

  • The draft should never return

  • @tim22ism what if ww3 becomes reality?

  • i was a pilot too. pick it up over here. pilot it over there.

  • i just want to say thank you to all of the veterans out there. no matter your politics or mine, you are the reason idiots like me can all sit around and voice my opinion. that said: fuck bush, fuck obama. ron paul 2012

  • @ evervic... here here... thank yo and you're welcome. I am partial to bush jr because on his watch the military enjoyed our biggest and most frequent pay raises in my entire career... yeah, he sent us to war but i was glad to go. i'd have ripped Saddams head off without a rope, and his sons were bigger bastards than he was. There was at least one WMD, and we, America, got him when no one else would or could. I just wish Bush Sr would've let us get him in '91. Would've saved time and money.

  • This is a great, kickass song. Eric Burdon, if he ever hit this page , would laugh his ass off. The reactions are just what an artist like he aims for. i remember as a young-un praying not to get drafted. i didn't. Later when i volunteered, i prayed that i'd 'know what to do if my best friends face were a pile of goo' (George Patton/George C. Scott). God Bless all th sky pilots! Me? I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh Lord, please dont let me be misunderstood.

  • @batugan77 No excuse, you could have either taken a non combat role or been a conscientious objector.

  • @Unclemoparman Uh... i dont need no stinking excuse. I'll type slower this time. I v-o-l-u-n-t-e-e-r-e-d. And I stuck around for 20 plus years. In lots of combat roles. Got to know lots and lots of Sky Pilots. THe only thing i conscientiously objected to was my ex-Commander-in-Chief Bill Clinton pardoning all of his fellow draft dodgers.

  • @TheBatugan77 Thank You and you forgot Jimmy Carter too. Happy Independence Day.

  • @TheBatugan77 -Clinton didn't pardon any draft-dodgers.He was President from 1992-2000.Jimmy Carter-1976-80 pardoned the draft-dodgers.

  • @USMCVIETNAMVET I stand corrected, and also stand in awe and thanks for your service. It was indeed Jimmy Carter who pardoned people like Bill Clinton.

  • have compassion our misguided brothers the conditioning runs deep ......bless the warriors for they shall walk in the light and mingle with the stars for eternity..............aho

  • GO BUSH!!!!! You have the nerve to bash America if you dont like it get TFO!!!!

  • @simpledropofrain FUCK YOU AN MR BUSH. HE FUCKED UP AMERICA

  • @simpledropofrain I HOPE YOU DIDN'T HAVE YOUR BEST FRIEND DIE IN IRAC CAUSE I DID. OR A MEDIC THAT WAS IN VIETNAM WHO SAW ALL HIS FRIENDS DIS MEMBERED, SO GO F YOUR SELF MAN

  • If anyone was bashing america it was bush for pissing all over our constitution and cementing our global image as dumb fat bullies. Anyone who bashes bush does so out of a love for our country and a hate for seeing a president disrespect everything we are supposed to stand for. The bullshit didn't start with him, but his whole nazi sympathizing family certainly helped us get where we are today. Do your reading you fuckin idiot. you are not a patriot, you are an ignorant asshole.

  • I heard this as a child Im 42 ,and i felt a disturbance

  • I will buy your ticket get the fuck out of America!!! Who is the first to offer aid when earthquakes and other disaters happen??? America !!! Get the fuck out if you dont like AMERICA!! Thats the way we roll!!!!

  • killing to end war is like fucking for virginity.

    it doesn't work. PEACE

  • For all the freedoms you enjoy. Thank the next vet you see.

  • I'll thank them for Wounded Knee for putting all those terrorists in their place.

  • but it was divine providence!!! our god given right to massacre and displace an entire culture!! Hail jesus!

  • if killing to end war dont work, then WWII never happened. Three ways to end a war. Win one. Lose one. Dont have one. War sucks. We all know that. We lost 200000 people in four years (Dec41-45). The whole world lost 20 million. Of course, that depends how you count, because for Poland, France, and Belgum, the war started a lot sooner. They did not fight. They still died, were taken prisoner, or were forced to bow to a new flag and speak a new language. Sorry.

  • this is the best part on eastbound and down

  • @theunhappyzombie Stevie was a badass!

  • traffic sound - Sky Pilot , version from peru

  • Great video to accompany a great song

  • What a great video

  • Until now, I thought the sky pilot bit was about a fighter or bomber pilot!

  • Sky Pilot was a World War II name for chaplains

  • This was a Vietnam song tho, they were still called Sky Pilots.

  • i love the video you put to the words, thanks.

  • Awesome! The classics are truly timeless.

  • thanck you sir thank you friend

  • I see this song as a metaphor for the politicians and REMF's that send other peoples sons out to do their dirty work.

  • I can still smell the diesel and the sewer-like smell of the swamp water. Seems like Tet was yesterday, it's next week in fact. Holy smokes it was a bitch.

  • like the song some of pics pretty weird i didn't think bush was that bad a president, Obama is way worse

  • A VERY fitting image would have been of the Islamofascist "sky pilots" flying our civilian aircraft into the WTC and Pentagon 9/11/01, perhaps followed by an image of some Moozlim imam or whatever.... might've made for some balanced context.

Nah.... better to make a cheap shot @ Bush, the US, etc... instead. Sure.... SO unimaginative.

  • @hl5 haha ur so stupid lol

  • Holy shit, this is good. Always loved the

song and sentiment, but never saw it put together like this. What is the pic of Bush with the tank-cock?

  • The only way to end the vicious cycle is to stop fighting and railing about war. You only get entangled in a perpetual war with war. Instead; move toward peace by making letting war die from lack of energy supply, positive OR negative. Starve the subject into anemia.

  • mistersister... lack of energy or supply is how you let war die? Lack of energy or supply is why the Japanese attacked us in 1941. Anyone who says war is wrong is right. But anyone who wants to lose a war after having entered one is nuts. Sometimes you get punched in the mouth. It would be Jesus-like to turn the other cheek. But then you get punched again, and teeth loosen. Then you gotta do something. Or maybe you don't. Or maybe you wont be able to. You're right. Vicious cycle.

  • This is obviously an anti-war song, esp. for the era it was written. Hmmm, no pictures of the North V.A. soldiers, or maybe the Iran hostage takeover, U.S.S.R. invasion of Afghanistan, 6 day war, IRA bombings, Isamic extremists see no harm in killing for what they want, The Crusades, pict. of the slave master whipping a slave(was that war worth blood?). No human with a soul wants war, but understands some want war no matter what(radical Islam), doesn't care if you understand, agree or die.

  • Why would a video about the song "Sky Pilot" involve pictures of slaves and the crusades?

  • Well the Crusades were wars...

  • 'War is an American Disease'? Name a war in History that wasn't for a natural resource...Can't. Yea you're right, the Revolut. War didn't win any freedom, nor the U.S. Civil war. Hippie's are bad enough, but hippies that don't even know history are worse. Spouting slogans with no concept of their words or the foolishness they mean.

  • good job dood i love the bass on this song!! the song is kinda repetitive but its awsome!!

  • keep it "current" it works better. (as in the song works better during it's time)

  • the 7 minute version is the original studio version 3 minute edit was for radio thisacutally came out in the 60's

  • Well done, war is an american deasease which doesn't buy any liberty, Wietnam war and irak invasion were only masacre....

  • Is this a studio outtake or not?

  • Excellent song to bring in to this millenium The only thing that changed was the age of voters. Same prob different country. RTR

  • Freedom of speach is a given in the USA. Racisms are also a fact of life, I learned in Vieet Nam that now one wants to die, ALL bleed red and scream. The saying that "War's hell" is not quite complete actual combat is a fucking nightmare. People talk of "Freedom" it is not FREE. Someone PAID a price for it so that YOU have it...Say Thank you to them and enjoy it. If you served in the military Thank you - I did and your welcome

  • 2 words....Well Done.

  • No one is ever a victor only a survivor.

  • @winstonmonabullet Perhaps that's true. but how many survivors (not victors) did we liberate from concentration camps in WWII? It wasnt because we got permission from anybody. How about liberating a continent from Nazis and Fascists? How many Iraqi's on both sides of the ocean danced when We liberated them from Saddam? War aint perfect. But when you're the one being crushed under the thumb of a maniacal tyrant, and your cries aint being heard, peace is not at hand.

  • This was eary for me. Took me back

37 years or so. Those days weren t all Good

  • Jimmy, I'm from the Viet Nam generation and yes I was there as a medic. Let me explain one universal fact... I don't give a damn what color the skin, religon, sexual orentation, etc... Everyone I saw bleed red.

  • They talk about our ratings with the people we are supposed to be helping. They say our rating is low. If they don't want us there then leave them alone to take care of their on crap. Let them die for something that they believe in. aslong as they do it in their own country and leave us alone.

  • Comment removed

  • How's that Nobama thing working out??? Better than that Bush thing worked out...ASSFUCK!!!

  • Is it really? I would submit to you that other than distracting, superficial partisan bickering, that we are no better off whatsoever with Obama; at least as far as our waging of a needless war on behalf of Israel goes.

  • What is some right wing dumbass doing commenting on a Hippie video?!

  • Hey Th3Onionforwhatever... what is some right wing dumbass doing commenting on a hippie video? Exercising his first amendment rights. Vietnam was a sh**ty war. All wars are. But try exercising them 1st amendment rights in Viet Nam... even today... and see what happens. That chaplain would have to look four ways before he even prayed or uttered the word God... any God. But dont take my word for it. Ask any Viet Namese. Or Cambodian. Or Laotian. Better yet, ask Ted Nugent.

  • ted nugent wast in the nam ass hole

  • Hey fatbowlingasshole... the point isnt who was in the nam... the point is freedom of speech, even for fatboringguys like you. If it weren't for guys like the sky pilot is praying for and with... none of us, even you, would have free speech rights, in the nam or anywhere else. Ted is an avid supporter of our servicemen, and knows what they've given so everybody here can have this chit-chat. I have family in the nam right now. If they said what i am saying now, their laptop would be snatched.

  • Hey fatbowlingasshole... me again. Lay off the beer at bowling time. You couldn't get the point of a comment if it stuck sharply in your asshole. And you don't have to be in the nam to ask the Viet Namese about freedom of speech. There are plenty of them in the USA now, damn glad to be out of there, dan]mn glad to be here, and for the same damn reasons as the rest of us. BTW you aint an asshole for calling me an asshole behind an alias on a computer. Just an abject coward.

  • @batugan77 ted dodged the draft

  • @mle20101 Nugent or Kennedy? Just kiddin. Maybe Ted did dodge the draft. Shame on him. I guess he and Ali and Clinton and a few others got away with it. Shame on us. But i will re-iterate. My point was and is that the reason we wear or wore the uniform is so that everyone here gets to speak his piece without recrimination... right wingers, left wingers, wingdingers... anyone who lives in the USA... and that the Viet Namese, even today, do not have that right.

  • Okay, Okay... uncle! Mea Culpa! Substitute Charlie Daniels for Ted Nugent. BTW folks, J Hendrix was a Screaming Eagle (101st) for about 30 seconds or so. Kiss the Sky, baby!

  • Soldier- SOF I'm..Proud of it...Good points all around. Military and civies is good. The pipes in this tune is my favorite..Good Stuff.

    Go Airborne...

    Peace

  • Nice amateur "video", this is such a great song. Had not heard it for a long time.

  • Thank god the George Bush reign of terror on the world is almost over. The whole world will celebrate on inauguration day, Jan. 20, 2009 when Obama takes the oath of office.

Finally we'll have someone with intelligence in the white house instead of an ignorant warmonger.

  • im afraid you have too much faith in the public if you think he will get elected.

  • First let me say that I firmly and whole heartedly believe that the same monied interests that told Bush what to do, tell Obama what to do. However now that we have the great 'peacemaker' Obama in office, why is it that we are still in Iraq and he is sending more troops to Afghanistan? What happened to his campaign promise to get us out?

  • no one race is more civilised than any other. the west thinks its civilised but has the worst track record for destroying our planet and our humanity has been removed by a little box called the computer. the east is still practising honor killings and they think they are civilised. humanity is nothing but a speck in the universe. no one is better than anyone. we all live to die and die to live. for those who died for freedom i say i honor you but if you could see you would be ashamed of humanity

  • I often read about how other countries hate the usa and our policies.. Well hears my answer F YOU,, who needs you.. Let them drink their oil. I guess brutilizing women and children and Beheadings is the sign of civilized people. I loved watching france burn when their minorities where rioting for better jobs and equal employment.Does anybody wonder why no attacks since 9/11 They will never openly dance in the street again regardless of who gets in office in november.Boy cott oil go grenn

  • Do you think that faith will ever let us live in peace. Did we forget 78 embassy, 83 barracks, 93 WTC, 93 Somalia, 96 CIA HQ, 99 embassies 2000 cole, 2001 ,,, You ask why we are fighting them in Iraq. Why Not!!! You Liberals enjoy your football games and freedom at the expense of the brave men and women who walk the wall.enjoy 11/04 700 billion bail out 800 billion in new programs. and im going to get a tax break SURE RIGHT we safe now.

  • Do you think that faith will ever let us live in peace. • To the over 4137 Americans who have died and over 25000 wounded i wish you and all your families peace.

  • Do we forgetThe US was spending billions of dollars a year enforcing no fly zones over iraq. To save the iraq people from Saddam How the UN was use less finding wmds and enforcing sanctions.. And how all of our so called allies turned their backs on us when we needed them. The French,Germans, and others can all kiss my white American Irish ass... for ever will hate you...God Bless the Men and women of the United States Military

  • IRT murphpj634... we were also spending billions sailing up and down past the straits of hormuz in the 80's. i was one of the sailors. Believe it or not, so was Ens/Ltjg. David Robinson (yes... THAT David Robinson). And even in the 80s, it cost a million dollars a DAY to support an aircraft carrier. By the way... we were not at war. Why? Because we were sailing up and down past the straits of hormuz....

  • A tip from me! give up your women they want me!

  • And too the Devil Dogg that hit me back! You know who UR..Go SOF....We owe you a beer...

    Hit us back again...

  • Sorry, dudes..It's about our jobs..Operation Enduring Freedom 1 2 3 5 7 8.....

    9/26/08

  • We should switch gears folks, and throw good ideas to get those crooks of wall-street (calle de la pared) back in track. What do you think? my opinion is that taxpayers should not pay a penny for what these guys had the odasity of stealing. No wonder they call them brokers, they break you!!! Hey, enjoy Sky Pilot, what a wonderful song uh?

  • nice idea, but if we had the organization/sense to do that, we would never have gotten in this situation to begin with.

This is a really amazing song. I admit im new to the animals, but im hooked now. thanks a lot for putting this vid up!

  • Hey oskieretard, I am surprised you can spell douchebag! Does your mommy know you play with the keyboard? Another waste of H20!

  • You are all douchebags.

  • Well I can tell you they are not sending it to sunny California, holy shit have you seen the prices!

  • Where's all this friggin oil you commies say we're getting from Iraq? COBARDES!

  • Part II: I guess that the title, "Operation Iraqi Freedom" was in actuallity, a veiled threat that few, if any of us really understood at the time. Had we known, would we have become involved in a seemingly endless war? I doubt it.

  • It's been five days since the last post, so I guess that the war of words is over. One thing that I hope someone could clear up: when we went into Iraq, we were told that the reason was to destroy Sadim's Weapons of Mass Destruction. A few months later, we were told that Iraq had no WMD. Now years later, we are still there. How does that work?

  • Army Airborne Rangers Rock the Night..

    This tune's got kick..Americans Rocks...

    Lets lite it up..

  • Thanks NightShades99, finally an American with some dam enthusiasm. Lite em all up!

  • To Stukadriver, you seem to have a fascination with the German air force from the looks of your favorites. Are you really an American or just a junior Nazi in the woodpile?

    Just wondering!

Re: In one of my responses,"...exactly how the Iraqi's state of mind".

The apostrophe in "Iraqi's" should have been omitted, and the word "how" should have been omitted as well. In the same post,"...with their children..." may have implied the soldiers' children. That was not my intent. I should have written was,"... with the Iraqi children,..."

Me? A neandrethal? Well, I do teach Florida Wilderness survival courses, Im a canoe paddling instructor, I provide guided canoe tours throughout the peninsula Florida, in a lot of places where your life expectancy would be all of 15 minutes or less if left to your own devices, volunteer for exotic aquatic clean-ups at our local state park and inform students of what I do during the Great American teach in. And just what is it you do to give of yourself for our great country? Response?

  • STD. Is some one paying you to be so stupid or does it just come natural to you? I am not glorifying war,I'm defending the honor of the soldiers you peaceniks slam by not wanting them to do as they wish .We're winning & you libs can't stand it. So to save face your ilk wants to pull out our troops & snatch victory from our grasp. It ain't happening, your side lost the argument,it's history you can't re-write.

Combat records; show me your's, I'll show you mine! Here's a hint, QuangTri province...

  • STD. I not follow my own advice I live it. I get my info from 1st hand sources, such as my relatives who fought there, and your's comes from where? I know, the liberal mainstream media. If you don't remove your blinders & investigate BOTH sides of what's happening then your opinion is just that,an opinion & an empty one at that. You speak of the Iraqis tired of fighting.More BULLSHIT! Their voting turn-out rate was well over 70% & their reruitment lines for police and soldiers grows everyday. Next!

  • STD, ALL chaplains are referred to as 'Sky Pilots'. It's obvious you are not or ever were in the military or you would know this. It's good to know you've been to Iraq (NOT)to spew this 2nd&3rd sentence of "haven't been there, haven't talked to any of the troops, yet I know exactly how the Iraqi's state of mind" BS. I,on the other hand, have relatives who've fought there, played soccer & baseball w/ their children, and have done away w/the rape houses & torture prisons. Get it?

  • I AM TIRED OF JASSO65(Pablo) NEXT

  • To call a person a grease ball is a mistake, United States is a country full of fat people.I went to the University, I think you did not and what you say about my mam is not true, but what I say of the american girls is right, you are a racist ignorant pig. Tell me about what culture is, speak to me in other language, and learn about the real mexican culture. My mam is an independent woman who does not need any welfare and I am the donky that fucks you in your ass. KKK white shit sun of a bitch

  • You can slander Americans but I can't say a word about you Pablo. It's mom not mam. I feel sorry for you because you want to bitch about things you don't have a clue about. Judging from the videos that are your favorites you are one little pathetic revolutionary wannabe. I don't think you are as smart as a donkey and I don't think you even know what KKK stands for. There are plenty of fine Mexican people but you my friend are a slimy little greasy coward with a big mouth. BYE DIP SHIT.

  • jasso69... you dont need to go to our country. We are doing quite fine without you. KKK means you have struck out the side, whether you are Tom Seaver or Fernando Valenzuela. The fact that you engage in a pissing contest with smart 4552 while everybody else discusees music tells everybody all about your particular "culture". Please keep it to yourself.
