I believe Ron Paul has admitted to allowing his name to be placed on newsletters that he didn't even vet, much less write himself, and that these newsletters were used for fund-raising. Is this consonant with Libertarian concepts of personal responsibility? You have to wonder who has composed "Ron Paul's" books, and if he has ever read them.

@Yahunatan1 I am not convinced. A house divided will not stand. Why would Dr. Paul run at all. Why not just sit back and let nature take its course. It is easy enough to cast doubt on the credibility of someone else, but the fact is the attacks on Dr. Paul don't ring true. Do you actually think that at his age he could give two shits about what this world has to offer? He is looking to the future and trying to protect the interests of his children and grand children.

The promise was conditional and the descendants broke their side... Amos makes it clear that Judah was divorced forever - only a remnant to be saved. (that remnant began with Jesus and his disciples.) Too much end-times fiction for you.

Paul believes in liberty to do what you want as long as you don't hurt anybody else. He feels that the unborn human in the womb has rights. I think that is a subtle distinction from opposing the freedom to decide over your own body, because another life is involved. We can all agree that people shouldn't kill children outside of the womb, and opposing the killing of children outside of the womb is never viewed as opposing the freedom to decide over your own body to kill that child.
