  • I fail to see how it is a red card, yellow perhaps! (studs were showing)

    1) Lampard got the ball

    2) One footed

    3) Lampard touches the ball when Alonso is almost 1 metre away. watch 0:23-0:25 carefully

  • Idk how alonso got hurt from that.

  • Im blind and retarded, perfect for a ref

  • Fucking horrible tackle by lampard! dirty cheating bastard!

  • What language is this?

  • what the fuck? lampard kicked the ball first !!

  • @hoyeeyuen and hates the blacks

  • bitch referee...

  • If anything it should have been a free kick to Lampard as Alonso kicked him.

  • Nice tackle, not even a freekick

  • I was at this game 2-0 late on Torres scores 2

  • thats what alonso gets for kicking lampard!

  • @hoyeeyuen more like- John Terry, the captain, the man who sleeps with every teammates wives

  • Lampard just touches the ball! Not the player....

  • Red card for Lampard .. that rhymes well ..

but he didnt deserve the red card ..

  • Alonso should had a red card. Shit referee

  • @JensStarum1 lampard went in studs up?

  • @hoyeeyuen and is a racist adulterer

  • Terry looks hella pissed.

  • Whoever thinks this is a red card doesnt know football.

  • Defenitly red card

  • he got the ball and the player got him? No red card there

  • @hoyeeyuen he would fight for every team mate .. JT IS A LEGEND !!

  • lampard broke alonsos foot in alonsos first season, and never got punished, what goes around, big fat frank

  • why is that a red card?

  • So he hits the ball first then gets kicked and finally sent of? I hope this ref is retired what an idiot

  • for lampard ???

  • kopnoł?

dobrze że twoi widzowie nie znają polskiego

  • how many pinits ref?

  • what a loser referee..Lampard got the ball first!!

  • that was a fucking excellent tackle... whats the ref smokin?

  • i agree with the ref. if lampard was going for the ball his foot would have gone further. his intention looks more like lunging in on alonso

  • @hoyeeyuen yeah by fucking their wife.

  • Not a foul

  • @hoyeeyuen yeah and fuck there wives...

  • @2112116 STILL he is the best CB in the WORLD....and probably the best captain(next to casillas)...so all of you haters...fuck off because nobody's perfect

  • @2112116 no, that was only 1 teammate. so shut the fukk up

  • im a liverpool fan i was fukin so pissed of with the ref

  • caca means "poop" in french soccer players you should all try getting a life sometime soon

  • that wasn´t a foul from lampard

  • refs suck ass i hate em all either they screw my team over or they make the game to easy for my team

  • more looks like alonso's red card

  • red card all day, if he thought he could get the ball he should of challenged not do a faggy studs up.

  • of course red

  • yellow is ok

  • Trudnych decyzji.

The description asked for all comments to be written in polish so use google translate to translate my comment

  • Polish your comment. Lampard is seen with the ball first kopnoł and later slain in August at him Alonso, the error Judge!

  • @lamo543 Haha what? That did not make any sense!

  • @Strongone112 yea google translate sucks

  • everyone shut up he gpot the ball but he left his feet up with his studs showing!!! YNWA

  • błąd sędziego? to na piłce się nie znasz.

  • yellow for Alonso!!! Hist studs hit Lampard... not the other way round!

  • Nothing was wrong! ref was just high on weed I guess

  • Not sure what he did wrong there.....

  • the best of lampard

  • thats two men going for a 50-50 ball i saw nothing wrong there

  • Rules Same For Every Player

  • yellow not red....

  • @MrHotmose free kick not yellow

  • no man, thats hes foot ...

  • at 0:41 Terry is like: "Which wife am i going to fuck tonight?"

  • Liverpool actually kicked lampard's boot lol

  • Studs up, left the ground. Red card.

  • he got the ball

  • that was an attack with a straight leg in the air.

    he could break alonso`s leg.

    very good decision by referee.

  • @cuban8810 Dude, it's a yellow at the most. Xabi Alonoso came in like a freaking bull.

  • SĘDZIA CHUJ !!!!!!!!!!!

  • The BPL overturned this call and changed it to a yellow after wards

  • wtf is wrong with that referee!!!!!! OPEN YOUR DAMS EYES YOU BOLD SOB. He got the ball only

  • All ball at first, and yet he doesn't even argue. What a player.

  • the red card was cancelled out.But I'm a liverpool fan,I say this is not even a red or a yellow,Its nothing really! its exactly like the Rodwell tackle on Suarez!

  • he got the fucking ball!

  • you guys don't know jack... many referees show players the red card if they go first with their sole and with a stretched leg... some do some don't...you have to deal with it.

  • He hit the ball ?

  • Alonso kicks Lampard.. Alonso should have got a red card.

  • shit happens... the issue isnt the tackle, the issue is that THIS referee doesnt belong at THIS level... he makes mistakes week in week out

    check out my channel :)

  • Got the ball and so what ?? he went in with studs first and could have injured Alonso

  • Got the ball, therefore no foul.

  • and lampard looks like Matt bellamy

  • Terry will fuck referee's wife

  • This kind of shit happens evey weekend around the world , just because its Chelsea its a big deal , Refs makes mistakes like people do . we all see its wrong cause we see the slowmotion replay , but on the field its looks differant .

  • You are all not intelligent people, the fact that someone is going for the ball or not doesnt matter. He went studs up, and even though he did get a bit of the ball he caught xabi, its a dangerous tackle and a deserved red card

  • He hit the ball first. That's so dumb. The other player tripped over him.

  • Another example of terrible decisions that go against Chelsea. Over the years this Chelsea team has had to tolerate some real shockers.

  • ref can go to hell

  • studs showing = red card in some occasions, cant complain. doesnt matter that he's "going for the ball"

  • the guys sound makes the video shit

  • obviously red.

  • @IAmaaaZeEU wtf thats fucking bullshit he goes for the ball

  • Wtf? he touch the ball first :s

  • Here's the thing. At first look, it's nowhere near a red card, just a yellow card. On closer inspection, it wasn't even a yellow card, just a free kick.

Lampard's studs were high, no doubt, but look closely. He got the ball first, just that slight touch on the ball before Alonso came in, and mind you, Alonso came in like a bull. The foul is that his studs were abit too high (relatively harsh in my opinion). But a red card? A joke and a Lousy decision.

  • @Sharhind77 Defo wasn't a red but it was a yellow.

  • @Sharhind77

Since he playes the ball, it's not a "foul because he hits the opponent". It could be a foul if you tackle with both legs and one gets the ball, the other the opponent, but here Lampards uses only one boot. So it can only be a technical foul because of "dangerous play". In this case it is possible to give in very extreme situations a red card, but this was not the case here, so a yellow card should have sufficed. btw to both players, since Alonsos kick was dangerous play too.

  • @Sharhind77 straight leg, studs almost knee height ? sending off you idiot !

  • @Sharhind77 Totally, this decision lost Chelsea the game (2-0).

  • @Sharhind77 It's the correct decision. According to the laws of the game it doesn't matter whether you get the ball first, it how reckless the tackle is and that is a really reckless takle, reckless = yellow card, excessive force = red card (His studs were to high, equalling excessive force, so it's a red card, the Ref was right.

  • @Sharhind77 that's because the referee is gollum...and we all know he's short....and his precious is the yellow card...he would never show that to ANYONE, so he had to give the red...it's basic logic.

  • @Sharhind77 Dude it was 2 years ago get over it

  • @Sharhind77 You just proven why it is a red card. Studs were way to high, and he endangered Alonso. Yes Alonso comes in hard, but that will never make a tackle with studs up high legal. So the ref got this 100 % right according the Fifa's Laws of football!

  • @cphthomsen brilliant response! keep up the good work

  • @Sharhind77

But that's the rule mate , studs up is extremely dangerous for anyone else going for the ball.

  • @Sharhind77 ...if you go with your studs first it's automaticly a yellow card...and 2 yellow card = red card...

  • @Sharhind77 he even got the ball

  • @Sharhind77 It's the new laws, if you make a challenge studs up, you get at least a yellow. Here, Alonso was going first to the ball and Lamps throws himself studs up to get to the ball first. He does, but it is a dangerous tackle. According to the laws of the game, the ref is totally in his right sending Lamps off

  • @guicharguichar WRONG

  • @guicharguichar WRONGGGGG!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Wtf? Lampard just went for the ball and Alonso fucking kicked his leg, Alonso deserves the red card.

  • @Lortagreb No, it just shouldn't of been a free kick.

  • @Lortagreb

What!?! NO! what happened was lampard went to try to get the ball. Hit it and alonso just got in the way.

  • lampard is a real gentleman and i swear, lampard never lies..

  • @CAKEvid

I agree with you, and I agree with the ref.

  • Straight up legit, no card.

  • fat frank :D

  • @1337Boredness you fat son of a bitch

  • as a Liverpool fan i must say... that is definitely.. 100% not a red card

  • if anyone thinks thats anything other than a red card then their a fucking idiot

  • TYPIC REAL MADRID!!!

  • @xXFallOutBoyJXx You are either an excellent troll or a fucking idiot

  • @1InchofPleasure nerv nööööcht

  • one leg is up, that's a yellow

  • @multimashpotatoes

That's so silly. 2 legs is not more dangerous than 1. It actually distributes the power more evenly, so in many circumstances it's LESS dangerous.

It is not the number of legs, it is the wrecklessness of the tackle. So why do ppl talk about 2 legged tackles? They are harder to control, thus always wreckless.

  • Maybe ref saw it as some form of 2 footed challenge.

  • this also will get red card? refree go eat shyt la!

  • Polish commentary?

  • Typical 'pool fans not understanding the rules. Lamps got the ball, he wasnt going for a tackle, he was going to kick it, and he kicked it. Alonso ran into Lamps foot after Lamps had kicked the ball.

  • I HATE THESE REFEREES barca won the match when the referee didnt give chelsea penalties .... QPR 1:0 Chelsea 7Yellows 2Reds for chelsea and 3 Yellows for QPR thats pathetic

  • Red card. Foot is off the ground and studs are showing. rules are rules. Dangerous Foul Play.

  • y r u gus arguing, thiis is a clear red, hez leg is up.

  • probably the only guy next to ronaldinho who smiles and goes off after recieving red

  • i totaly agree with the commentator

  • it's not just about "getting the ball first". Although that's what everyone says is the rule it's not. If you go in a dangerous manner or with excessive force, i.e. flying in with a stiff leg with your studs up, its classed as dangerous play and you're off.

  • Ya thts right... he hit the ball first ..its unfair.. bt unfortunately refree cant see the replay before deciding..

  • U idiots do know that the red card was reviewed by officials and they decided to let him play next league match. U guys don't even know wat happened and go assuming like this... STUDS UP!!!! CLEAR RED CARD!!!! and one more example... TWO LEGGED CHALLENGE OFF FOR SURE... wat idiots are these people. STUPID FUCKING DUMBOS!!!!

  • Worst red ive ever seen lol....

  • what a dive queen

  • SPAIN IS PERFECT FOR XABI

  • its a two footed tackle! and his foot leave the ground so, yes its at least a yellow card!

  • @ChrisssyM

    Youre a good fan!

  • Im a Liverpool fan and thats not a red card. I respect Lampard most of out of any Chelsea player.

  • what does this have to do with barcelona?

  • this is definitely NOT for a red card. Lampard is on of the most careful players I have ever seen... referees make lot of disgrace to Chelsea

  • @988adis the ref was right lampard went in studs up and high moron.

  • Tylko man utd ^^

  • xD

  • i hate lampard i hate the fucking team with all my heart but fuck me that was harsh...

  • lol that was never a sending off

  • The title rhymes:)

  • the only reason why he got a red card cos the ref saw alonso hurt on the ground after the tackle! I hate refs who know nothing about soccer!! Especially stupid old mike riely

  • alonso suck

  • wtf? he takes the ball!!!!!!!

  • i thin its more a foul from the red player :O

  • I saw that Lampard get the ball first

  • standard of refereeing is appalling. He's actually fouled there.

  • I'm a United fan, and I frankly (haha coincidence) don't like Chelsea.

But how the f*ck is that a RED CARD?

  • IT is obviously Xabi who kicks Lampard. Not just yellow for Xabi. Red.

  • Doesn't matter if he got the ball, his leg was up and he showed his studs, thats a dirty tackle in football. You should always go into a slide tackle with your studs DOWN AND AWAY from the ball. From a professional player that is disgraceful and totally inconsiderate to the other player. What if he didn't get the ball and got the player, that player could have been seriously injured with a broken leg/ foot. Fair red card.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2

    NO IDIOT.

    He tackles the ball.

It's a yellow to Xabi Alonso for arriving too late. If Xabi is in danger here it is completely his own fault.

Lampard gets the ball. Xabi Alonso gets the man. Yellow card for Alonso.

  • @Likkivi yes he does tackle the ball, but why did he go studs first into the tackle? why not stretch his foot out and flick the ball away? he would have got to the ball faster and it would have been safer, right? he either intentionally risked badly injuring a player which would be a red card or simply didn't care about the player being hurt which is also a red card.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 That is not a red card. It was a 50-50 challenge in which the only one who got kicked was Lampard. It's your kind of attitude that is making football pathetic.

  • @OnlyOneTreeHill8 tell you what, if everyone made tackles like lampard did, more players would have broken legs.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 If everyone made tackles in which they cleanly won the ball?

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 Your saying what if he got the player . . . . He didnt. Thats just like saying if he punched him it would of been a red card, but he didnt. Stupid point made by you.

  • @Chops95 not quite, it's not the fact that Lampard wins the tackle, the card has nothing to do with the tackle, it the fact he went into it carelessly with the possibility badly hurt another player when he has no reason to. Lampard could have made a challenge in a way where if he either wins the challenge or doesn't, it he won't be risking hurting the other challenger, but he didn't. THAT is the offense, which i believe he should have been carded for.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 And also, the FA appear to disagree with you, considering this red card was actually rescinded (that makes the decision was overturned as they agreed it was a fair tackle).

  • @OnlyOneTreeHill8 Yes he won the ball but it's not that. Its the WAY lampard wins the ball that got him sent off, he risks the safety of that opponent to win the ball when he absolutely doesn't have to. In fact, he could have got the ball earlier if he'd tackled in a safer way, compared to going in studs first.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 It's nothing to with Lampard's tackling the ref made a mistake.

  • @CptQuakers it is to do with his tackling, look at 0:23 as lampard makes the tackle, his leg is straight and fixed, which it shouldnt be, especially in a head on challenge where he's likely to go through the ball and take the player too. Also, his foot is pointed up showing his studs you should never do that in football ever because it can cause serious injury. At least a yellow should be given for that challenge and theres reason for a red here a bit harsh if it's lampards first fault.

  • showed his studs during the tackle, thats dangerous in a head on tackle especially as the liverpool player is going in for a hard kick, lampard should have backed out of the tackle or done a hook tackle. a fair red card.

  • @qrrbrbirbel2 nope its not a fair red card he got the ball idiot, thumbs up if u agree :) thats why the match ban was ruled out and next match he was able to play do u even know about soccer, FAIR RED CARD LOL are u serious!!!!

  • 50/50 wernt it

  • Fucking UEFA can suck my dick there should be fucking replays and not this gayshit

  • it was not lampard who deserved a red card...lampard got the ball first...he had no intention to tackle the opponent ...

  • Райли пидар, тут даже желтой небыло...

  • i dont think that warranted a red card at all

  • I love how is his reaction after getting the red card. Humble. <3 Lamps.

  • how is this red?

  • Tackles like that should give a three month long suspencion...real scum who does assaults like that.

  • @Layon86 Tackles like that? he got to the ball first you idiot. If anything he should get a yellow but he was certainly getting the ball not player.

  • @vt006 When he attacks with f the bottom of the shoe it's a clear red card, does not matter if you hit the ball first, learn football ffs, ppl who plays like that must be sent of the pithch.
