You know what's interesting. Listen to the last song during Turbulence by Adam Gontier and Apocalyptica "if you are dead or still alive, I don't care" That's Jimmy's songs folks. If it were Chloe's or Davis's, it would have been different. Shows what Chimmy really is and how Jimmy finally felt about her - they should have ended right there.

@MrsWitwer OHMY. I didn't see that before- but you know- you're very right. Davis clearly cares, getting himself soaked to the bone like that, and Chloe does, but Jimmy had this thing from his first meeting with Chloe in Vessel- sabotaging there relationship and throwing temper tantrums over any genuine relationship she had. You are a genius.

Sometimes I think Jimmy needs to be protected against himself more than anyone else. He has the tendency to jump headlong into a situation without knowing the full extent of the situation. Davis does not want to hurt Jimmy but the Beast feels threatened and when you back a predator into a corner, he's going to pounce. But Davis himself, minus the red eye influence would not hurt Jimmy because he knows he means too much to Chloe (sometimes I think wayyy too much).

It's very interesting how they took a bestial behemoth from the comics and reimagined it as a troubled person who struggles to control the monster within, knowing how dangerous it is. In some ways, Smallville's interpretation of Doomsday (Davis Bloome) reminds me of Bruce Banner/Hulk.

si, no? Es me favorita al momenta, pero se debe llamar el 'Chloe and Davis show'. ;) la serie ya empezo. Este episodio y Eternal eran tan perfectos! yo estoy esperando ver Beast(con Clark, Chloe y Davis) en dos semanas.

Yes, it is. Someone on k-site mentioned it and the difference i came up with is...err...doomsday is not green. and an alien! and that's it. ;) I love the Chlavis relationship, though I don't really 'know' Bette/Bruce, I suspect I'd love it too. the thing with Chlavis though, is I was invested in both characters before the turbulence.eternal twist, so I see their relationship as unique.

Does anyone else think that Chloe and Davis' relationship is beginning to feel very reminiscent of that of Bruce Banner and Betty Ross (The Incredible Hulk)? She is the only one who can calm him down and prevent him from becoming a monster, despite the risk to herself. Familiar or what . . ?

hee. I get that a lot. those Lana eps were a lightswitch too. didn't fit. (and also eeeek!)I wish there was more of clark's journey towards being a hero rather than random love interest of the week.

i've been watching this show since Day 1 and now its growing old. the story is dragging BIG TIME. i mean we all know the story and how long will he keep running from his destiny? and as for the flying i knew he wasn't gonna fly at all. it was STUPID having Superman "falling" . clark will probably never fly. doomsday character doesn't make sense. clark is not even superman yet let alone in his prime. he still doesn't know how powerful he is. i just watch the show just to watch it now

I think SV likes to tease fans with the superhero stuff. it's kinda like what romantic comedies do with the romance, they don't go anywhere most of the time. I agree, tho, the show has to go somewhere and clark should start growing up.

in eternal, he grew a little, at least . then Chlavis caught me really bad with this eternal stuff.

If they do it will probably be a one two punch kinda thing. (It appears they plan on keeping Doomsday for S9 because a new stuntman has been casted.) I think a fight will take place but not be a huge one necessarily. I could be wrong. but that seems to be the way SV does it. I'm sorta, sorta for it in case Sam stays. ;)

i think the same thing clark going through a building or something then it says "to be continued" i just feel like they have clark to "girly like" so sensitive and holds back also. a light should come on in his head saying "why is it everytime i run from my destiny or try to go against my father earth almost gets destroyed?" now i understand he's superman and he can do no wrong truth, justice, and the american way but gosh

Think what annoys me about the "no flying" when the do scene of him doing saves with long drops the person would die just as much as if they hit tarmac on their own, being in his arms won't help. So Tess should be a stain on the ground. They never should have made that no flights or tights rule for themselves, plain dumb setting boundaries for a show.

Clark nor superman has a shield factor that discounts physics. Object stops dead it better be strong enough to survive the impact be it the concrete or the bones in the arms of the person holding you.

Might buy it if they explained it some how, as smallville don't exactly follow the comics, but the falling from massive heights holding someone and them living has bugged me for a while. No flying rule just stupid IMO when other characters have flown.

When you watched Smallville last week, was it in fullscreen. I don't know why it aired that way, because it was all zoomed in. The title Smallville was cut off at the edges. Is anyone else having this problem with their CW network? It's not all shows though, just so far Smallville and Supernatural.

Maybe so. There are more theories to that (like empathy, the fact that no one else has tried to calm him, or some kind of mental link), I think that his feelings play into it, too. That would be kind of neat from my shippy perspective. ;)

I totally agree with chloe being the beauty to davis's beast. I'd be willing to put up with him killing bad guys to get his aggression out and coming home at night as davis. I am going to be on the edge of my seat until next thursday. I cheered when chloe tasered jimmy and saved davis. he's worth saving, jimmy isn't. davis's love for chloe tamed doomsday!!!!
