Why waist valuable space for these pussy kitty coasters when you can build monster coasters like x2, scream, or tatsu? Not saying little kids cant have fun im saying they should make separate theme parks for age groups. One for adults & teens, and another for little kids.

@Numba1SouthParkFan All that is, is nothing but an extremely stupid business idea. That makes simply no sense whatsoever. Sure you could do that, but what would be the point? The reason they don't put in a new roller coaster every year is because they cost millions to make. That takes a couple years for the parks to acquire, especially nowadays. Most parks have plenty of land set aside for projects like that in the future, and have all the space they need. Kids and teens are 2/3 the profit... :I

Judging by location for it at SFMM it seems SFMM is trying to put in some kids rides amongst the big ones. GOOD MOVE! Gives the kids in groups or families something to do whilst older members of the same group ride the big stuff, instead of having to leave kids on one side of the park all day long

this was actually stopped and is no longer going to ssmm but "SUPER MAN THE ESCAPE" is being remade into "SUPERMAN ESCAPE FROM KRYPTON" and an all new coaster is being added "THE GREEN LANTERN" and trust me and trust me SUPER MAN ESCAPE FROM KRYPTON is going to make you PISS YOUR PANTS!

To all the critics all I have to say (other than get a life) is - this is a kiddie coaster. Anyone criticizing SFMM for bringing this on board should have to write that phrase 500 times after school. Judging this on what it is - a kiddie coaster - good job. The tots have to start somewhere - this works.

@lemuneephresh I work at Magic and this is the right coaster, its been painted to match Mr Six's color scheme, it is a sad excuse for a coaster but the sad truth is the six flags had to liquidate what was left of the park in New Orleans because it was decimated by Katrina, so every ride that wasn't destroyed is either being sold or finding a new home at different parks in the six flags family.

i spoke with the six flags manager at MM. there thinking of making a ride called Blue Thunder, its supposed to have a much bigger drop then goliath and pull better G,s and will have fire and electricity going off and will top out at 96 mph!!!! WHOOO . but they said it costs a few MILLLLLLions to mmake it. so they might not have the money. but they said there planning on buliding it at where the fireworks are . just a little aside from it.

It is being re-located from Six Flags New Orleans which is where I filmed this video when the park was called "Jazzland." I could care less if you believe me. I have my facts straight and this IS the ride going into Magic Mountain this year.

Hmmm, SFMM really screwed this one up after the really great ride, Terminator: Salvation. I would of settled with a Tony Hawk spinner coaster which has a track twice as long than this! I know we're in recession, so maybe SFMM will save money and surprise us with a record breaker in '11 or '12 ;)

This has got to be one of the dumbest announcements ever. A "family" coaster? Other than little kids, what member of the family can really enjoy this? It's 17 seconds long, for God's sake! A family coaster should be something everyone can enjoy, like Big Thunder. 2nd, I can't believe people are praising the "theming" of this ride but rip half of Cedar Fair's rides a new asshole. It's the dumbest theme imaginable. Just repaint the shoes, throw up a picture of Mr. Six and there you go.

At least with Shoot the Rapids, there's SOME real theming there, yet everybody hates that addition, but this "wonderfully themed" ride is glorious. WTF. 3rd, I highly doubt that this one coaster will be a huge game changer for families' minds about Six Flags' unfriendly atmosphere. If Thomas Town didn't, this definitely won't. Invest money in a real ride that everyone can actually enjoy instead of standing in line for the newest ride only to get 17 seconds of mild enjoyment.
