You talk about the animation of BFBC2 and say it's slow, you obviously played it on Xbox (not a PC elitist comment but it explains my next comment). On PC the speed of the animation and pace of the game is much much faster than the xbox. You played BF3 on PC so the difference is much more noticeable, I'd say they will come out at around the same gap between console and PC as they are for BFBC2.

If you have a PC capable of running it well I say buy it on PC but if you don't, or you just have no friends that play PC then I suggest definitely getting it on console. It's only by playing both versions that you really get a sense for how different they are so if you know you aren't going to be laying the PC version then quickly switching to the Xbox/PS3 version I say get it anyway :D

Mainly because you can see that DICE puts so much more work into their PC version compared to their console versions. Also I don't have any friends who are PC gamers and my PC would need a ton of work on it to have it run Battlefield 3 to it's fullest, my PC is from 2002 or 2003, I can't remember.

Granted that was for Rage but they are both technical masterpieces that have a similar obstacle.

"Whos Henry" is kinda retarded. Yes you are slow but Battlefield is aiming to me more REALISTIC. The soldier is carrying more than just a t-shirt and some pants with a gun. I'm not a CoD fan boy but I keep seeing people say "This game is all about team work, don't expect to be a one man army" or something like that. But you guys should already know by now that every single FPS game will have team work AND a lone wolf slayer. You can dominate in Battlefield by yourself without the help of your team mate. Simple as that, no arguments, no IFS and no BUTS.
BC2 isn't slow, MW2 is just too fast. BF series is very realistic. Movements and everything. If you played BC2 and didn't like it, then you obviously didn't play with a good squad. It's ALL about team work. Not lone wolf, run and gun COD.

ArmA is a commercial version of a Simulator sold to the military, they're very much alike but ArmA is very intelligent in the way it gets fun and realism together. I find when I spawn on the front lines I can get into the action fairly quick, I can move around fast, and kill people quick (but not instantly like in CoD). I'm hearing alot of you COD fanboys saying that you will buy BF3 which kinda scares me. OK before you even think about playing BF3 there are some rules you need to know
1 This is a team work game lone-wolfing wont do shit
2 Sorry no killstreaks man up and fly that damn jet yourself
3 Guns have realistic recoil so dont expect to do 360 backflip no-scopes
4 Maps are HUGE so plan on walking long distances at times
5 Dont camp too long that house wont be there forever

@JoJoJo151990 Well I wouldn't say lone wolfing doesn't do anything. Sometimes its more effective to lone wolf. Walking is just as effective as taking armor, and sometimes more effective. I'd rather walk than drive over a mine and have my treads destroyed.

@Dragpk7 If you play smart you can pull your other 3 squad members in a humvee as fast as possible to the m-coms by using "hidden routs".
And if theres a medic and a souldier atleast you can totally rape the enemy team. : D

ArmA is a commercial version of a Simulator sold to the military, they're very much alike but ArmA is very intelligent in the way it gets fun and realism together. Personally i could care less if Battlefield 3 is unrealistic, it's always been unrealistic and thats why it's "fun", and if you want realism in a Battlefield game there is always Battlefield 2: Project reality.

I dont understand it when people say BF is really slow. I find when I spawn on the front lines I can get into the action fairly quick, I can move around fast, and kill people quick (but not instantly like in CoD). And I'll tell you, when you're running from a motar strike while being chased by a tank, heading to defuse your M-Com... you wish the game could slow down.

@r226s i play both. unlike most cod players, i can transition into being a team player as well. i like to think im good at both games. i can run and gun and "pwn ze noobz" just as good as any other cod player. but i can also throw out ammo and med packs for my teammates and use strategy to win. i'm not a hypocrite. i never said all cod players can't be team players, i said hardly any can. and my channel is half and half between cod and bf.

Half of what you said doesn't actually make the game better, but rather different. Like vehicles, I rather not play with them, and more weaps.. I feel like there's plenty. I could reply to almost every single of your "arguments" But I don't really feel like it.
So to conclude: It's all personal preferences. Some like space guns, some like aircraft, hell yeah some even like kids screaming in the mic :D
