  • wow... i drop my jaw after seeing her dancing like that... my gosh!

  • one of the best I've seen so far!!! :-)

  • I love the costume, the drum song was great and your choreography (or improv) was unpredictable and fun to watch!! Awesome!!

  • Love this!! It's been in my favourite playlist for a very long time and I never get tired of watching it. Just wondering where can I get the track? Been looking for it in ages! I understand from your comments the name of the song and the composer composing for a dance company but does the album have it's own title? Just wondering if I missed anything :-p

  • woooow...great moves...

  • beautiful ! i love it - amazing !

  • the title is really Amer's drum solo?

or it's called because of You?

  • The title is really "Amer's Drum Solo" - the first drum solo composed by Amer Matri for the Arabesque Dance Company. Maybe some day somebody would compose Ameera's Drum Solo :D

  • Loved it!

  • Brutus approves

  • thank you Ameera . I like your dances. You are best of best prences of oriantal dances

  • wow just perfect !!

  • nice job and very pretty costume!!

  • bravo!

  • I really liked this. It was simple and elegant. The choreography matched the music. There weren't too many isolations thrown in....so you could actually make them out as accents in this dance. The costume..beautiful. hands and arm placement were fantastic. This is what I wish to see more of...It seems there is something in traditional technique that is being lost in many of the choreographies I've seen lately. This is great! Keep Rakking Ameera, just lovely.

  • Thank you so much! Tough I can't take credit for the choreography - it was done by Yasmina Ramsy of Arabesque Dance Academy in Toronto. She creates amazing shows!

  • @AmeeraRaks hello I just wanted to say i loved the choreograpy to this dance I live in a small town were there are a few belly dancers.I have been dancing for a few years now.I was wondering were i could find the music and break down of this dance. I know you said in one of your post who did it and were it was from but I was wondering if you have and thing u could seen on you tube mail box which I have'nt figured out how to use yet:D.

  • waauw, she's really good

  • Ameera--your grace, style, technique and beauty are AMAZING!! I'm stunned!! Only could you pleeease smile? It would add so much to your dance and show us you really enjoyed dancing for us as we did watching you!!

  • Thanks for giving feedback in such a sweet way! I'm woking very hard on the smiling part, so hopefully it is showing in my recent performances :) => :D

  • muito lindo

  • She's lovely and she's also very good with her use of movement. She really knows how to do isolations and use her hips. Also, her costume is perfect for her. It's one of the nicest ones I've seen on a belly dancer. She dances like a professional......:-)

  • that was phenomenal! very impressive and inspiring.

  • Love it!! ;D

  • Beautiful dance and gorgeous dancer! Superb :-)

  • wow

    that's really good

    my name is also ameera.

i didnt know my name was that popular.

  • you're such a superb dancer. I like the music and the costume. It adds to the synchronization of the whole dance. I wish I also know how to dance that well in belly dancing. I wanna use it as my talent in my upcoming beauty contest.

  • Very good dancers very good coreograpy. Please tell my what's this song name.

  • The music is "Amer's Drum Solo" available from Arabesque Dance Academy

  • beautiful

  • wow..I didn't expect that end, that is great! Love your dance and costumes. :)

  • I think for the facial expressions as well as the arm movements- improvements in these areas will all come with more experience and practice. What a great start though Ameera! I loved the finish in this video too by the way.

  • A skilled, beautiful, and captivating dancer- Well done Ameera!

  • Ameera your dance is great. I love your isolations and your technique is good. Your costumes are super too. The one thing that is missing from your videos is emotion in your face. You look so sad dancing in your vids. That is the ONLY thing I could pick out. You got it girl!

  • Thanks for your kind words and suggestions :) I am aware that I need to work on the emotional aspect of my performances, but that doesn't happen quickly. I guess my subdued smile doesn't cut it -- need a Cheshire grin more often :)

  • As a friend and admirer of Ameera's dancing, I'd like to point out that she does definitely wear a cute little smile when she dances. It's hard to catch things like this on video... especially when resolution is compromised on YouTube.

  • Way to go, Ameera!

  • The isolations and varieties of movement are excellent and well-performed. Some of the arm movement could be more natural, but still done very well.
