No! I would defiantly recamend accutane to anyone with bad acne! I was in your shoes 5 months ago I was soo scared to go on accutane. The side affects. I just started high school back in september. So obviously I had to the worry of what people would say/think ect. If you have really bad acne I would 100% with out a doubt recommend the drug. Now I will tell you what your are getting yourself into of u make the decision to take the drug. The side affects I got were the n

  • You are SO beautiful girl, and you talk so cool. ohh I dont no what to dooo!

  • Im on my first month of accutane/clarvis, and i got it for 10$ I'm 14 so i don't really know what my parents insurance plan or carrier is, so i can't really help you there, but my face and lips are so dry. my face is scaly and peeling. any tips on some moisturizers that are extremely gentle and do not burn. because i used nuetragena?and it burned immediately. so i used aveeno, hand and body cream as a final resort. it helped but i broke out. if anyone knows about anything message me :) thanks

  • @conwayswag77 I think cetaphil is the best. It's really gentle and doesn't clog your pores.

  • Got mine for free because i live in Britain :P

  • Stupid illiterate latina hoe!

  • @Brookhaven80 Im 15 years old with acne and im goin to the dermatologist soon for my for my first time...i just want it to dissapear

  • Acne does not just happen to teenagers. It can persist well into your thirties and forties. It causes emotional as well as physical scaring. It can diminish or ruin self esteem. To some people a drug like acutane is hope in pill form and if you're not at the point where the side effects of this medicine, I'll admit, so are a little scary, but if the benefit doesn't seem to outweigh the risks for you, then you probably don't need this medicine. Acutane is for people who've tried everything to g

  • Love ur accent

  • Go fuck yourself.

  • @Pyriew whats wrong with you

  • @Poopyheadnumber1 One of my best friends committed suicide because of his acne. Accutane works and anyone who discourages people from using it may be ruining somebody's life.

  • you have to pay $600 :O . am glade i live in Scotland where you prescriptions are free :D

  • you are hot hot hotttt

  • Of course her acne isn't bad, she said she's halfway through the treatment. This is the part of the treatment where the breakouts stop and your skin begins to clear up. Even if that's not it guys, there is also moderate acne that results in scarring that requires Accutane.

  • This is why Accutane is a last resort medicine for acne..If you're serious about getting rid of your acne then you will deal with the side effects for 5 months to be acne-free forever.

  • @utubesuxman results don't last forever actually. results typically last up to 2 years after finishing the 5 month dose, during which some people grow out of acne and think the 'results last forever'.

  • @oahulover: Some people never get it again, there have been gurus on here who have said that they took Accutane 5 years ago and they still have nothing.

  • @xCuppyCakeSqueakersx like i said, they probably would have grown out of it during that time anyways, according to my derm. I took accutane and 1.5 yrs later my skin was back to normal - oily and hormonal breakouts. i have 2 friends who took it and results only lasted a 1- 3 years.

  • can't even see your acne?

  • You don't even have acne?

  • My sister is on accutane . Her skin use to be hard to look at now its almost perfect! She didnt getting mnny side effects exept sore joints and dry lips. But reall it was super worth it! U'll never know untill you try! It didnt work for you, it worked wonders for my sister!

  • IT OUT YOU NEED TO MOISTURIZE YOUR SKIN!!!!!! Seriously this is key!!!!! Ill be honest I am not a fan of accutane, it does give results though. PLEASE NEVER USE NEUTROGENA, PROACTIV, ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB!!!! Also because you are on accutane you have to be extremely careful what you put on your skin. You can not exfoliate for six months after you are off of it. You need purely hydrating products.

    BEST OF LUCK!!!!!! :)

  • @kissbang55 Accutane has SERIOUS side effects. It may give results for acne, but I can guarantee that you will regret taking it when youre older and sick as fuck.

  • @kissbang55

Don't tell people to use certain products just because they don't work for you.

I use St. Ive's Apricot scrub and it works beautifully for my skin.

I have to agree with you on Proactive though, because statistically, it seems as though Proactive has failed many people.

  • @kissbang55 hey im gonna start accutane soon and i was wondering if it would be okay to continue my acne stree control cream wash is tht to harsh to use during accutane?

  • Try not to, the drug works fine. make sure you use cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer :)

  • @kissbang55 whats wrong with-st. ives apricot?

  • @12345678900emiry St Ives scrub is bad for your face because the granules they put in it actually tear your skin which allows any infection to get into your pores. It's also really drying, best exfoliator to use is Liz Earle's =) That's the only skincare range I use!

  • Hey I just wanted to give you some advice, I am an esthetician and can off some scientific background. A lot of people have complained that once they got off of accutane the acne comes right back. So what I recommend once you stop is to find a product that has hyloronic acid in it. Hyloronic acid holds 1000x its weight in water and will moisturize your skin so your cell metabolism is optimal. Most people with acne drink a ton of caffiene and not enough water. That is the key. BEFORE YOU DRY

  • You are gorgeous.. modelling? your skin looks great though! Tasha

  • Wow, your very pretty!:P I've got bad acne and I've got the information sheet for Accutane and Roaccutane (I dont understand the difference between them to be honest :P) Im a 13 year old boy, I've read the sheet and there's side effects like Hair loss I'm not sure if I should take Roaccutane/Accutane help me out please :(

  • Wow you're a baby....yeah the side effects suck but you should have been warned by your dermatologist about them. I had severe acne and now my skin is gorgeous so I'm thankful everyday for this medication. Suck it up and deal with it, the results will be worth it.

  • ive paid almost £3000 for my accutaine treatment in the uk non NHS

  • buy it online girl if its too expensive for u

  • round

  • im only on month 2 and im already on 80. your supposed to be on it for six months and you can break out all the way up to the fifth month and the finishing dose is supposed to really get rid of it all, no offence your dermatoligist is probably suscribing it to you wrong because my acne is improving so much its crazy and it was severe, many people have the same dosage as me. you should ask your doctor why it was such a low dosage, probably because your body is unfit for a high dosage, do a second

  • @kristenpilon you shouldn't have accutane for more than 3 consecutive months! be careful! if you need another round you should wait at least a year. do the research and talk to your dermatologist ... its doctors who are irresponsibly prescribing it that are causing a lot of the law suits and other such negative side effects (like irritable bowels).

  • @jessishy1 some dermatologist suggest 5 or 6 months. if yours didn't, that doesnt mean any doctor who does is wrong. each doctor chooses their own . Its a bit prejudice for you to call my dermatologist irrisponsible. He is actually a well-known, well-proclaimed, and educated person. also, some of the side effects that cause law suits are not proven to be results of accutane.

  • @idothefutterwacken i did a ton of research on isotretinoin and the manufacturers are pretty unanymous in that you should be on the medication for no more than 3 months because it puts tremendous stress on your liver to metabolise the ingredients. if you trust your doctor's opinion based on your blood work ... then its up to you. don't beleive everything your doctor says, be informed by unbias sources.

  • correction = in 3 months*

  • u were taking too much dose at 60mg. i was on 40mg when i started, 20mg am and pm. i had the same side effects, i sucked up the side effects to clear my skin or i'd rather die, i was very depressed. anyway, my brother had acne too & i prescribed him some of my accutane. i told him to take one capsule 20mg per week. in 3 weeks, his acne cleared up dramatically w/out any visible side effects. his friends noticed the improvement and ask whats he doing to his face. he would reply, nothing, just h2o.

  • You look like Sam from Jersey Shore.

  • @TaschaHoeier I was just thinking the same thing lol

  • ur hot

  • I am taking accutane and you are very impatient person and you are suppose to be on it for 6 to 7 months and people see a difference on the 5th month so ya u don't know what your talking about.

  • ur pretty

  • i heard it caused it a dangerous affects for the colon ..so be careful and ask your derm

    wish you luck

  • i hope ur all better now!

  • You are beautiful

  • I'm going on it 2mr! I hope this is worth all the money, time and effort :)

  • i had this treatment for a year. My insurance did compensate roaccutane i think in 80% and then in the last 3 months they said that they wont but they will compensate sotret. so i took sotret. worked fine.

  • yaaaaa dolphins!

  • I am having the blur effect and quitted Accutane for good !! Sure it helps my skin but what about my eyes ?? !!

  • Did you mood swings go away after the treatment ?

  • Sucks about the issurance company most of them are scumbags i also went on accutane i had a cheap issurance threw my bank & at first the benefits package said it would cover doctor visits n generic medication which was bullshit cuz i still had to pay half the derm visit charge $40 a month & i had to pay for lab blood work $70 a month on top of that the generic accutane i had to pay for it to but i called around found claravis at walmart for $126 for 20mg & $134 for 40mg i was taking 60mg a month

  • holy shit. you're so beautiful....almost a perfect beautiful face.

  • There are also long term side effects witch you will discover! :)

  • mmm this girl is sexyy

  • to wearing very little makeup or none, being happy, outgoing, just being more positive in general. I would get ready waaaay faster and would go out instead of staying inside miserable. I would have way less panic attacks. It's amazing what clear skin can do for your confidence. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me : )

  • @crazydancer9288 omg you posted three comments chill out

  • i was on claravis and sotret and maybe one other brand but that was when accutane was still on the market, the name brand. Accutane side effects are hell but i promise you when it's over it will seem like it went by fast and you will be so thankful you went through it, at least if you were affected by your acne as much as I was. I went from being depressed, having anxiety attacks every day, wearing layers upon layers of makeup, staying in the house for months, and just being miserable.......

  • i started on only 10 or 20mg a day and was on it for 6 months. The last month i was on 60mg a day but they upped my dosage slowly. I was on the generic brand and they still charged me between $800 and $1,000 a month with insurance. I was on Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield or PPO Blue and a government assisted insurance and they still charged me that. It's Crazy!!!! For people that have that bad of acne to be on accutane they need to make it affordable for us. Acne is a medical condition.

  • Accutane is supposed to poison your oil glands. :|

I hope my Acne doesn't get worse when i grow older.....so far so good...

  • and one more thing if you take vitamin -E 400mg than it will reduce tha side effects of accutane .

  • THERE IS A SOLUTION FOR U PEOPLE . YOU PEOPLE SPEND 25$ FOR ACCUTANE 10 MG AND 45$ FOR ACCUTANE 20 MG . ACCUTANE IS ISOTRETINOIN BASED MEDECIN . THE SOLUTION IS CIPLA ISOTROIN -10 AND ISOTRION - 20 . ISOTROIN 10 IS ONLY FOR 2$ AND ISOTROIN 20 IS ONLY FOR 3$ . IN INDIA .YEA ITS TRUE I M NOT LYING . THESE ARE SAME AS ACCUTANE AND MOST TRUSTED BRAND OF INDIA . IF U PEOPLE CAN MANAGE THAN IT WILL SAVE LOTS OF YOUR MONEY . AND I M ALSO USING IT .

  • your voice is sooo hot.

  • your hot

  • geeze 60 mg is a lot im starting at 10

  • @SMAYIN 10mg is low. That is depending on your weight though.

  • Please also do NOT pick at your skin :) That may cause scars! Best of luck and health!!

  • Your skin looks fine to me :) I'm not sure if you've tried a salicylic acid (leave-on) product, but that is supposed to help exfoliate the skin while getting deeper into the pore (an opening in the skin) more than glycolic products. Perhaps you can get a second opinion by a board-certified dermatologlist and ask about those products.

  • Thank you for the review! I'm sorry that you're having so much difficulty with Accutane. I'd heard that the medication is so powerful which may include side effects of severe depression, suicidal thoughts, liver (the largest internal organ) which helps to metabilize fats and remove toxins) damage, birth defects, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which are digestive diseases and allergic reactions. Hoping that you find something that works for you that isn't so unbearable.

  • whoa $700 .. thats a bit much? D: I don't even use the generic ones, I use the actual brand Accutane and it only cost me $70 at the pharmacy. Without health inurance. O.o

  • @s2bebe2flyy WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU LIVE I NEED YOUR PHARMACY. Im paying 450 for this shit! My insurance pays for 400 of it though.

  • I have really really bad acne. Ive had it for 8 years now. I really want to start because evreyone says that the side effects are super dryness and some pain things that can be dealt. But my mom is freaking that it might make me infertile or something even though my derm said it doesnt. Has anyone had a healthy baby after accutane??

  • @Chocolover5652 my cousin has, and things went well. But if you get preggers WHILE you take accutane, you WILL have a birth defect. So....be very careful.

  • its not magic girlie...these things oughta happen... and you have fine skin, dunno why u started it in the first place

  • havent started mine yet, but im going to the derm soon(couple weeks) :D and yea, videos like this one totally convinced me it's worth it doing.

& damn i know the fucking price is insane for it. I'm going to be paying for it living on my own and with a part time job and it'll kill my spending money for sure >< Gotta live off ramen noodles and tapwater for like the five months ima be on this shit lol.

    awesome accent btw!!! :P

  • what happen with ure insurance? am in the same page :( what insurance did u have when u started the treatment? and wich one did u switch to?

    PLEASE HELP

  • OMFG! I'm exactly how u were!!!!!!!!! This is everything like legit exact!!! That's so weird! And yeah I think the mood swings were cuz of the pill...but I'm not sure but like I just went to the dermo 2day and Omg! Like it's so weird we r the same!!!! Except U were on it last year and I'm just starting but yeah:p and btw Ur really pretty!! And did u finish?? Have u had another zit since??

  • You look good girlllllllll!!! ;)))

  • that shit is crazy ur face doesnt even look dat bad u could use like benzamycine gel and your face would probably be flawless it really works but damn me...my face is fucked up im about to get on accutane next week and i asked my derm is my insurance covered it and she said yes so now after watching this video im like worried ima have the same problem as you, because if they do shit im just sticking to what im using now which is the gel i just mentioned which works for me but takes a while.

  • so did u finish the course?

  • Accutane is a very dangerous drug. Google accutane lawsuit and act now

  • can i ask you ONE thing i am also a girl and i want to start with roa accutane buth you need 2 birtcontrols one month before you use it(i am living in te netherlands)

    so what did you use?

it sounds so heavy 3pills what is the best for your body?

  • ur skin look perfect mine is horrible nd my dermatologist dont even talk to me about this hate thiiis

  • good luck ^^

  • hey girl im on the same boat about the price its freaken ridiculous main reason i can't go on it yet as much as i want to..and i want to so bad.. i have 2 jobs both part time and i dont have issurance :( and paying my own colloge tuition, so im not sure i can afford it yet. Good luck i wish you the best your almost done.. :)

  • btw is dat boricuan accent lol?

  • @DJmmeeooww nooo lol close though and good luck ive been on 60 the whole time just trust what your derm. is prescribing your it will kick in eventually.

  • wasup again ... wot was ur dosage at the start? and now? im starting 20mg this fri but i dont know whether its too weak and im not lukin forward to the first flare up..... im scared since right now i only have like to spots on my face and last question , i know that recovery time from zits or spots is twice longer than normal when not on accutane , but how long does it or did it take you for ur flare up to calm down and does it leave any redness behind

  • you shouldnt be taking that crap.. look good anyway... ;)
