@789xray yes it has all of these. It has a video player that the basics up to simple 720p coding, and a music player that does all the same functions of the ipod(shuffle, repeat, plaaylists, etc), and a web browser (With flash! It has flash player!!!!). It also has its own app store, but its kind of small. It has about 500 apps available at the moment. Hope that helped!
@789xray i wouldnt waste ur money.... if you see how un smooth and laggy it was for him to zoom in and out..collect money from ur family members for your birthday and hold on to it till u have been hands on with the product. or just wait till november 15 and get the kindle fire which is 20 times better
Please please post the files you used to root your nook. I loved your vid, honestly I don't know why it's so hard for people to do things like these :)
Had it not been for Woot selling the Viewsonic G-tablet, I probably would have purchased one of these and rooted it like you did. But for the money now, it almost seems as if you might as well buy a dedicated Android tablet. Great video and enjoy the freedom of Android!
nookdevs[dot]com - If you know how to copy a file to SD you can Hack the NC. Dead Simple. And for the more Adventurous you can get Froyo or Honeycomb on it too.
The iPad is too expensive for my taste as of now, and I demoed this thing in a B&N store. It's very good for what it's worth... I don't read books a lot, I want to use this for web browsing mainly. It looks even better with the Android hack, so I'm def buying this soon. Thanks for the video!
I am considering a ebook reader in the near future... so far I'm so heavily leaning toward nook... I have a very advanced laptop but I want an ebook reader that have high quality color content... not B&W like Kindle...
Looks great! Did you use the instructions from the NookDevs website to root the device? I've seen a couple of videos using different techniques, all of which differ from the instructions (Windows users) on the NookDevs website.
How did you hack it!? I NEED to know! lol I just got the Nook Tablet.

Very cool. I sell these things but had no idea that hacking could enable full access to the android market. Thanks.

@UtopiaMinor666 If you're not experienced with rooting/hacking/baking Android ROMs, the learning curve is pretty high.
But it's still possible! :)
