@1asheler Sorry for butting in, but I recommend "Bedtime Stories" if you enjoy Madonna's softer and slower music. I also recommend "Music" because that album was also produced by William Orbit. It has some songs that sound like the songs on "Ray of Light" as well. Hope this helps!

The sound of the entire album was just a ripoff of what everything but the girl sounded like in that period of time. The melody of "Frozen" was actually proven to be stolen from another artist. The lyrics, consisting mostly of vaguely spiritualistic platitudes, are what is most redeeming about the album. This in the sense that at least its interesting to witness the spectacle of Madonna the hysteric struggling to overcome Madonna the hystrionic. As in: it's a trainwreck in slow-motion.
