  • I need help choosing new boxing gloves and what sites to trust.

  • you dont punch with the first 2 knuckles..the first knuckle can break easy..you punch with the 2 middle

  • @cheeesefunnel ya ik right some trainer

  • @cheeesefunnel and who taught you that? Billy Blanks?

  • @emactivedotcom

ok cheddar balls..what knuckles do you punch with?

  • My personal favorite pair of gloves are Ringside , They have a perfect wrist support and the right fist position , But I just need help to tie the laces, thats the only downside of them.

  • Woah woah woah, that gym looks familiar... is that Mustafa Marconi's gym?

  • man, very nice gym!!! my boxing gym only has a mat. no exercise equipment, no room for a ring. nothing. hahaha its poor. wish i had a better gym to train at.

  • i got the everlast one

  • @QCBEC sorry.

  • @brandeezy108 why do you say that you are sorry?

    I like my glove lol

The hand position suck but there good.

  • @QCBEC its really just the hand position you feel like you gotta force to make your hand fist and it does fatigue your hand...watever it just make me work harder right?

  • what is he difference between wrist wrap gloves vs regular traditional gloves, usage wise?

  • @sniperboy102 no difference. and by wrist wrap vs regular traditional gloves do you mean velcro vs lace-up? only difference is that velcro is easier to put on but lace-up give better wrist protection.

  • Im using Top Ten Fight, and Im satisfied with them. Good padding on the knuckles, good wrist support, feels balanced. They worth more then the price they have.

  • Everlast protext2 or 3 glove are awsome for wrist support

And for most of them the Padding is always good

    I recommend Everlast and Rivals

  • I wonder what size title gel world bag gloves he has on?

  • what are you talking about!? title gel are awesome!

  • lol "theyre black so they will last longer" yeah makes lots of sense

also lol @ "they will last a long time" after hitting the bag with some gloves he used for about 10 minutes

    dont listen to this moron

  • @Makaveli25x he said they're black so they wont look as dirty and you can tell whether a glove is cheap or not from hitting a bag for 5 minutes

  • what happened to those gloves after he road tested them--anyone know?

  • tufwear is top???LOLOLOLOL

  • @lollaylulaylo their bag gloves anyway. not so much their training gloves.

  • Comment removed

  • @grmhustler he was just hitting the bag, he wasn't sparring or fighting. i realize that when you're just hitting the bag or whatever you should still keep proper form for practice but if hes just a trainer there isn't a point to practicing as long as you know what you're talking about and can show the proper form

  • you should try sparring with jason. See if you can hit him in his ribs. Manny keeps his hands down when he hits the bag sometimes, however I wouldn't say that manny doesn't look that good at boxing.

  • What about Cleto Reyes?!?!?!

  • Lovin' the Adidas shoes!

  • SPONSORED BY TUFWEAR.................

  • @MapmanDex TUFWEAR is actually a very nice glove, it's just an old school one. I own those exact same pair that he was using in the video

  • gym is wack, scbc all day

  • Thats one fucking lazy jab you got....

  • think this video is cool check out my boxing gloves it is item number 180540586318 on ebay just type in that number on the ebay search engine and it will come up

  • amature boxing is growing??? u mean becoming unheard of before i joined a gym i only knew one guy in my entire 15 years who did amature boxing

  • what hapened to all these gloves after hec road-tested them?

someone said they rang the gym and they had been slashed and destroyed as they were just to test out and once worn cannot be taken back to the makers or returned to the vendors? is this true

  • u say u kno about gloves.... but if u do, i dont see u talkin about Grant, Cleto Reyes witch are one of da best gloves that have been made for boxing...

  • Ugh! I ordered the training ones instead of bag gloves. I got the 14oz training Tuf-Wear hook and loop gloves and they were too small :P. I put them on without wraps and they were already tight - and the thumb part is so uncomfortable. It was even worse with wraps.. I felt like my hand was going to explode. I'm 5'7 and about 160 lbs (fatty) - _-'' but my hands aren't big. I want to get those Tuf -Wear Super Bag Gloves.. the Large should do it, right?

  • Winning is the only training glove/headgear/no-foul protector that I see EVERY top pro using. Word from Floyd Mayweather Jr, Oscar De La Hoya, Erik Morales, Manny Pacquiao, and many, many other top pros is that Winning is the only way to go.

  • if you guys like this check out the boxing round timer on ebay its item number 180464441490 great tool for boxing workouts!

  • i just bought some shit gloves from energetics, 10 oz, dont fucking know what kind and stuff but they are to hard and i feel like i cant hit hard, i dont know how many pounds i am but around 84 kilos, what size and boxing gloves should i go for? i like top ten and everlast gloves....

  • im a bigger guy, i have a larger frame, wider back/build then most peopl, but my hands are quit small. i dunno if i should buy 14-16 ouncers cuz i hava a larger frame, or 10-12 ouncers cuz of my smaller hands

  • how much you way over 175 get 16 under 14

  • i weigh between 210-215

  • hey man i'm about 5'7 and i weigh 116 pounds so size should i get? Oh and I aint done growing yet

  • @pequeno98

Hi, take heavier gloves. The 10 or 12 oz. are not necessarily lesser than the 14 or 16. oz. The oz. rates the padding not the size.

  • I know you know what you're talkin' about, don't need to tell me.

  • he didn't rate the fighting sports gloves =/

  • Fighting Sports is a Winning knockoff brand. No need to spend a penny on Fighting Sports. Just Save up your lunch money and go for the Winnings.

  • @fresheggot they were actually winning gloves much more expensive.

  • @fresheggot I don't recommend Fighting Sports, They look amazing don't get me wrong but the quality is garbage, loose leather is really weird on a boxing glove. Save up for the real deal Winning.

  • Most sporting goods stores sell handwraps, but usually are the short versions, only good for small hands.

Wrapping your hands looks to be very easy... until you try it for the first time. With practice, you will figure it out.

  • have a great deal on boxing gloves check them out its item number 180434199968 on ebay!

  • i weigh 135 what size gloves should i get 16 oucers seem like they would be huge

  • buy 14 oz. 16 oz are for heavy weights

  • 12 OZ. for bag work, 16 OZ. for sparring. This holds true for ALL weights, from 105-heavyweight.

  • yea i know already. But i use 14 oz for bagwork, pad work, and etc.. 16 oz for sparring. i dun use lighter than 14 oz cuz i can train me speed with heavier gloves

  • ya me too they look sweet. ive only watched ratethisgear's video on it, apparently its like a smaller, more compact and economic (cheaper) version of Winning gloves. i think i will buy the 16oz training gloves (jason strout used the 12oz one, thats why he was complaining. he's a natural middleweight after all, its too small)

the title gel (r/w) are good. i have them, they're 60bucks from Title. but he's right, they're bad protection on the wrist part, which is bad for power punchers like me

  • Thanks Jason, good tips especially on the wrists. Good advise here.

  • but dun you need biger oz gloves so when it comes 2 fight night ur much sharper n faster

  • I like the white color gloves by Fighting..How do they rate?? anyone use them?? I'd like to know..thanks

  • thats what i was thinking..to me so far thats the best ive ever used..great support and very light..even for the 16 oz..

  • As he says buy top quality I don't think tuf wear are available in Australia.

  • Could someone Link me up to these exact Tuf-Wear gloves.... thanks.

  • once my thumbs starts to come off my gloves thats when i now its time to buy new ones. everlast or twins i think last the longest

  • you should try rival, they're pretty good

  • jASON IS MY TRAINER. I AM 74 YEARS OLD AND HAVE BEEN IN NYC TV NEWS FOR 35 YEARS. JASON IS A NATURAL. HE SHOULD BE ON ESPN. FABULOUS GUY, GREAT TRAINER. CHAUNCEY HOWELL

  • what about Grant, Reyes or ringside they should of done more...

  • @RICLOPEZJR 1:44 he stated that he tried other gloves so there is a possibilty the gloves you mentioned were tested

  • Bare knuckle boxing? He's not from your trailer park.

  • lol u moron nyt has over 13 000 subs, lol rednecks

  • lol ,thejewyorktimes has 4 subscribers lmfao, crash and burn you fucking idiots, lol
