You're all tards. This song was written before American Idiot, and members of this band were in Billy Joe's other band, Pinhead Gunpowder.

@RadiotapeStar I think the only connection between those two bands are that they released a split ep together in 2000. Can't find any info that the D4 boys were ever in Pinhead Gunpowder. Probably just pals or something.
Still funny though, that a lot of people will just think that this rips off american idiot. Even though this was released in 1998- a whole 6 years before american idiot came out. People need to do their homework before complaining
