Dunno about you guys but i'm ignoring the movie version of IRIS. Made no sense - the NK general (working with IRIS) they killed in the drama is alive giving orders to her in the movie. And the NK general she is friends with in the drama is killed in the movie. wtf? lol. Plus the spinoff Athena followed the drama plot line NOT the movie remake.

Moral of the story: the movie is shit. The spinoff was kinda of crap. Where is IRIS2?????? I swear they were going to film in october =(

I think she killed him becuz he would be killed by someone else from her side; maybe she rather do it herself b/cuz she loved him or she was more loyal to her country/duty; whatever the reason, horrible horrible writing! I was pissed off for a loooong time so don't feel too bad. Korean movies usually kill off the wrong people = you should see East of Eden: Great drama but pissed me off too!

@LimeLolly3 Actually, there is not Part II. Instead they made Athena but stories are not related. This one has a better ending. Korean dramas are easy to get sucked into. Many interesting ones - I only watch the ones people around me tell me about. Another famous one is "All In". Enjoy!

@LimeLolly3 I personally didn't like it as much as Iris but it was popular among the Korean people. Try 3 episodes and see if you get sucked into it. Iris left me in a bad mood for a while. Hope it's not happening to you :)

why did she kill him?at the end it shows she killed him and it shows she was part of iris and the general who had to be dead was alive,and he made her kill him,and then she had a flashback how he told her to pretend she was his friend and tell the general everything thats happening..but i dont get it im sure she really loved him and even if she was in iris why would she kill him, even if it was part of the plan, she still loved him..i dont get it, the film is confusing but great!! I think Lee Byung Hyung had more chemistry in this drama than he did with Kim Tae Hee. Kim So Yeon has charisma. Her character in this drama is very charming and mysterious. Her acting is excellent. To add on she is amazingly gorgeous!

I actually started out liking Kim Taehee and Lee Byunghun together too, but after a while I really wanted him to get with Kim Soyeon because Kim Taehee's character got a bit annoying. I don't mean disrespect though, she's a great actress, but in the beginning they portrayed her as a strong and independent agent, but she just seemed really wimpy and needy compard to Kim Soyeon after a while. But regardless we all have different opinions.

As much as i love Kim Tae Hee and her role with Lee Byung Hyun, i must say, there were times where i was rooting for this couple. Kim So Yeon is as much as a good actress as KimTae Hee, maybe even better at times.
