I didn't use tabs on this. I played the melody by ear. I'm pretty sure you can learn to do it too. Try to sing the notes of the melody in your head and find the notes on the guitar.

im not a fan of this song as well, ive heard this a zillion times, but when i listened to the lyrics, i started to tear up, i felt the story, luther vandross was amazing. i never in my life cried for a song, very heartfelt. and this guy playing with the guitar was good, the drama of the song is still there, nice one :)
