a) not everyone thinks the same way you do
b) if you believe in a creator, the creator gave us free will to make decisions for ourselves. so we can make the choice to be thankful. and its a belief which can propel your life in a particular direction. so you can either think of it as the creators doing, or your own with a belief that guided you. thats all i have to say about that.
