One pokemon i suggest you use would be a Mankey :D

They have great skills and traits, they are immuned to sleep and it's type combo is good for the fight few gyms. And if you keep it after Mt.Moon, you can get it the Mega Punch and Kick which also deal ass-loads.

@swiftdasher I actually thought of doing a Final Fantasy LP too but it was more FF7 since I haven’t played it too much. Nice choice for starter, Charmander is OVERUSED! Watch one of my LPs. A good pokemon you should catch is Oddish,it is a good grass/Poison type if you are looking for one. Mankey is also a good Fighting type throughout the game

decent for a first lp. In th futue though do the audio and video settings not in the recording. The commentary was pretty good. Though I hope you skip random battles
