So when a examiner tells me that I need to work on an area to try to save a tooth... he doesn't get paid anymore for another visit.... he is trying to save me from having a root canal which would have me sick in quarters... thus not getting any work done. Being healthy isn't an option for me. They HAVE to care. Some dentists do care.

I got an interesting tidbit about flossing from my dentist: If you floss everyday for two weeks prior to the appointment, most dentists will THINK that you probably floss regularly and won't give you crap about it. I tried that before my next appointment, and she actually complimented me and said, "I see you're keeping on your flossing!"

I went 3 weeks ago and my jaw still hurts. He had to resurface a few teeth and bondo one. I think I got a total of 5 shots in the mouth and was in the chair about 2 1/2 hours.

I'm due for a dentist visit by this summer. I think it will hurt my wallet more than my teeth. Dentists always seem to charge too much money, but dental health is important so I go. I always get crap from my dentist because I don't floss enough. :p
i havent been to the dentist for 5 years either, but here in the UK thats cos most dentist lists are full and closed, and then when you find one to join theres a 5 month waiting list to get seen for yr 1st appt, then it costs the EARTH. So brush twice daily. Your teeth look gr8 so dont feel guilty!!
What I hate about dentists is how they poke and scrape at your teeth with that metal pick untill they cause just enough damage to cause a cavity within the next 6 months.
If you don't have a cavity or halitosis , skip the damn dentist , they have enough cars and vacation properties.

I'm glad you finally went to the dentist! I have to go to the dentist regularly else my teeth'll fall out. Oh, and I'm gonna have both my jaws broken in half at some point by a surgeon... And I can only use a soft tooth brush else I'll take my teeth out. Wow, my mouth is messed up...

Well, you're a beauty and I'm sure you'll manage without going to the dentist.
I didn't go to the dentist for five years but at last I had to go to an Afghan dentist and it was pretty bad.
So... Don't go to an Afghan dentist in Afghanistan once you really have to go to a dentist.

Ok so Im totally bad at dentists too.
So for flossing... I bought floss and set it right next to my computer, and everytime I go on my computer I see the floss! For me, I go on my computer more than once a day, so when I get on the computer I watch videos or read emails, Ill sit there and floss my teeth at the same time! I works for me, and sometimes I floss twice a day!
...I ran out of floss 2 months ago, and havent bought any since. Damn.

yeah dentist can bitch alot mine is an ex prison dentist he's really bunlt he tells you what you need to hear and not what you want to.Wisdom teeth suck though i had all four of mine out at the same time two pulled and two cut wasn't real bad though even though the anesthesia didn't really take.Sorry i get to rambling sometimes.

I went to have a wisdom tooth removed once and they had to use a fucking hammer and chisel,It did'nt hurt cause I was high and numb but just thinking about it makes me kringe fuuuuck.

I went 3 weeks ago and my jaw still hurts. He had to resurface a few teeth and bondo one. I think I got a total of 5 shots in the mouth and was in the chair about 2 1/2 hours.
I always think your teeth look great in your videos.

I'm due for a dentist visit by this summer. I think it will hurt my wallet more than my teeth. Dentists always seem to charge too much money, but dental health is important so I go. I always get crap from my dentist because I don't floss enough. :p

i havent been to the dentist for 5 years either, but here in the UK thats cos most dentist lists are full and closed, and then when you find one to join theres a 5 month waiting list to get seen for yr 1st appt, then it costs the EARTH. So brush twice daily. Your teeth look gr8 so dont feel guilty!!

What I hate about dentists is how they poke and scrape at your teeth with that metal pick untill they cause just enough damage to cause a cavity within the next 6 months.
If you don't have a cavity or halitosis , skip the damn dentist , they have enough cars and vacation properties.
