I can't beleive that would work on a standard Land Cruiser as they are full time 4WD

With all 3 diffs unlocked, all it needs is one tire to spin to do a burnout. AWDs with viscous coupling transfer case are a bit harder. You'll definitely burn the viscous coupling clutch if you ever get to force the rear diffs to spin away from the fronts.
