Suprjman50...thats ok SuperjMan50..people in massachussets can always continue to import their necessities like biomass electricity in maine and continue to send us their waste, since we are generally financially poorer.
Those of you who are in favor of a biomass incinerator should be forced to live across the street from one for five years. Are you willing to do that? For an example of a biomass incinerator going full force, see "Longer Video of Grays Harbor Biomass Incinerator" which was videotaped in Grays Harbor, Washington.
wow. its not ok for your town to have a power plant but its fine for you to use electricity every day. doesn't make much sense now does it. and if burning wood doesn't feel "green" enough for you. I'm sure the coal power plant where you previously got you energy from was much better for the environment. maybe you should think about the bigger picture before you just try to halt progress
Let's build a wood burning plant next to your house and we'll see what your reaction will be then. Do your research before you leave flippant comments on a subject you obviously know nothing about!
Hey usaskiteam993, do you live anywhere near where they want to build this plant? I do, I live right across the river from it-I can see the site from my kitchen window-I seriously doubt it's going to "improve" the quality of life for me or anyone else in this section of town...particularly the truck traffic delivering "fuel" to the plant every day...
Ummm!!! no! i freaking grew up there! and when i move back, it needs to look the way i remember. lol i miss it up there so much.. now i'm in south carolina :(
