God, this show is unbelievably corny - hard to believe that the producers think the public are actually buying McPhee and all the paid female extras in the audience vying for his attention. Could the cheese factor be any higher?
There were so many truly high points in season five and this was one of them. I can't stop watching this song. I love watching the audience react to the song--cheering after every phrase. Elliott really needs to make an album of all these old standards. This one, A House is Not A Home, Moody's Mood For Love, A Song For You, Teach Me Tonight. These are all great songs sung by a great singer. I don't care for his albums. The songs just aren't that great. This track is superb.

its funny watching these semi final performances. You can tell when a contestant does a good performance when the camera focuses on the reaction of the group that's watching which in this case was the girls. They were dancing and cheering but you had moments where they looked at the judges with disgust during the performance to see that they enjoyed it. Its like they has one eye on the performer and one eye on the judges lol.
This is fantastic! Every time I listen to it, I feel the energy of the performance. I think Elliott Yamin is absolutely one of the top AI performers ever.
I agree with Simon. Wonderful performance...... I especially love it when he sings "What am I supposed to do".. Makes me wanna scream like those girls.....Love your voice Elliot.
A) Simon was right, he was the best male vocalist on that show....even after 8 seasons
B) Ryan was kinda weird at the end, clapping him hard on the shoulder and shaking him around, not to mention touching his jacket and going "you're soaking" ...lol ew, why would you wanna touch his sweat :P

And then i was really anxious to see what he was going to do the following week, and he sang Moodys mood for love, and i fell in love with his voice. Sorry if that´s not a good translation. I don´t speak much english, but i try my best. Bye!!
