you have the strength as a cyclist and ability,,,,you just have to stay in the front,,,,if you're in the last 4-5 laps or so go to the front and make a break away attempt you might go off the front and win or you might get caught up after a while either way you can place,,,even if you get swallowed up by the field it could be a while and you can probably place in the top 10 and get money
@shockey957 I piggy backed off of a friend who had a bunch made up for his team (and who typically does design work for pro teams and such). There are online places out there, but I don't know one from another.
Thanks. Although not necessarily aimed at "noobs" (Cat 3s would probably protest that moniker) I think that if anyone learns even one thing from the clips, they're worth the effort.
There is 1 dude who races around here with a helmet cam, but he lacks the commentary so his vids are usefull but not all that informative. Keep up the good work.
I started "training" when I was 12. However, that involved riding a mile or so at a time. I started riding a little more when I was 13-14. I did group rides that had Cat 2-4 riders (mostly 4s) and non-racers, using the then JR gear limit of 53x15. I first raced when I was 15, after about 3 months of serious training. I finished my first race probably 2 months later. I didn't start placing for 2+ years.
Awesome clip and music taste dude!

@SKEPTICPROD Thanks! The music is my brothers' so I have to say that they get the credit.

I swear there is a Kutztown kit in there, local team around here in Eastern PA, unexpected for a race in CA.

Great video. Mind if I ask what service you used to get the customized name decal on your top tube?

What age did you start training? How long did you train before entering your first race?
