It's so impressive to me, that Buble, a great singer, himself, is possessed of such immense generosity of spirit. He chose to become a good friend and to get this kid, Leon, rolling. I don't think that it is fair to compare their performances during this song since obviously Micheal was trying to showcase Leon not up stage him. Miicheal barely sang along at all except at the biginning...he basically sang back up on his own song

Well said, stirlanne. Michael B perhaps started with fewer resources than Leon. Leon's voice is quite rich, luxuriant, even, especially for a pop singer, which he seems to aspire to be. But Buble has created himself and become a true musical artist along the way. Someone needs to get ahold of Leon and show him how to stand, how to move, how to take the stage and most important of all, how to find his own style. Give him time. He'll be fine.

I saw Michael Buble in Vancouver, Canada (his hometown) on January 12, 2008. He was great, very nice and humble despite his huge success. I am from Vancouver, Canada and after seeing this video, I was intrigued by Leon and now I have seen all the YouTube videos from the X-Factor contest. Leon has definitely the vocals, the strongest stage presence and he is best performer. He can sing all types of music.
They sound completely different - Leon has a richer tone of voice than Michael, while Michael has a smoother tone of voice than Leon. They are both great in their own way, but no they don't sound identical, in fact not even close.

I went to this show Michael was amazing very funny and excellent entertainer I thought he was very gracious to Leon and really let him shine. A true star!!! Can´t wait to see Michael again hurry back.

I can't believe Michael virtually lets Leon sing the whole song himself. He's such a generous modest guy and it's so cool how supportive he's been of Leon since his easist X-Factor days.

its quite interesting that micheal buble gave him the chance to sing the rest of the song but as leon went through he didnt pass it to him! and buble was kinda confused and he reacted as saying "go on.. keep goin!", kinda deploying that he's cool and he actually wants leon to keep goin but at the bottom of his mind he was expecting some generosity from him.. but it was a good performance i liked it

i prefer buble both live and on record to leon, hes simply a better singer, but bubles been doing this HOW long? leon will make a great singer eventually,cowell, made a good call, delaying leons album so he can get some more coaching...

I saw Michael Buble in Vancouver, Canada (his hometown) on January 12, 2008. He was great, very nice and humble despite his huge success. I am from Vancouver, Canada and after seeing this video, I was intrigued by Leon and now I have seen all the YouTube videos from the X-Factor contest. Leon has definitely the vocals, the strongest stage presence and he is best performer. He can sing all types of music.

Dunno how u can say that. I don't really like either of em. They sound identical. Leon is mediocre and unoriginal in my opinion.
Dnt get me wrong, am not a hater. Good luck to the guy...but I just don't see any chrisma.
Hopefully his album will prove me wrong.

They sound completely different - Leon has a richer tone of voice than Michael, while Michael has a smoother tone of voice than Leon. They are both great in their own way, but no they don't sound identical, in fact not even close.

Buble was not "out sung" by Leon. Instead of making this a competition why don't you look it as one man giving another man a helping hand. Buble's generosity speaks far stronger than any note Leon can hit.

I'm with you. Buble is a very established singer, he has nothing to prove. His such a humble gesture towards a new & upcoming star speaks highly of him. Beautiful song though. Its funny that Buble is so relaxed on there while Leon is soooo focussed on the song.. must be so much pressure sharing the stage with such an established professional. Good job gentlemen, love that video.

I went to this show Michael was amazing very funny and excellent entertainer I thought he was very gracious to Leon and really let him shine. A true star!!! Can´t wait to see Michael again hurry back.
