  • I used to sing this to my art teacher lol jk hahah

  • These guys are the best. I have seen them so many times, and they always bring me right back to being 14 and dancing to this song in junior high. Live, love and laugh and keep the Isley Brothers alive in your heart.

  • @tcdcinreno great comment bro, they r awesome and great, i never coment on my own vids, but urs i had 2, the isley brothers r a great group, the reason i needed 2 comment was this, as great as they r, noband from any time/era country etc is better then Queen! Queen is the standard in music, the peak, the actual very best 2 ever do it nobody ever will ever take tht spot from them, idc wut anyone says thinks cuz ive been called out b4 on my bold statement but Queen is the pinnacle

  • @mizeryluvkompany I have to agree on Queen as well. I enjoyed seeing them too. I rock from way back. First time I saw Isley's was 1979. Oakland Coliseum. With a band called Stargard.

  • @tcdcinreno, this is all b4 my time, i was born in 80, so i was young, but caught on as i got older 2 great music, i guess i was like any kid of the times, then it was mj, bobby brown , hammer, and a slew of a bunch of bullshit i wouldnt liten 2 today, except the r&b from then, some of the best. & rap of the 90's,but queen, there by far the best 2 evr do it, u evr get 2 see queen live? i would giv anythng 2 see thm, luckly we got youtube who would u say is the very best of any era

  • I think of this whenever I see a hot, classy lady...

  • Terrific sound often forgotten among music fans who are delighted to be reminded about The Isley Bros.

  • two people havent experienced music yet

  • Ernie Isley kicks ass! The first time I saw the Isley's was in 1979. The last time was 2003. Never missed a beat. I could listen to this guitar all day and all night.

  • SOUL TRAIN LINE FORMATION AND BLOW YOUR WHISTLE!!!

  • oh my god...that BASS guitar in the background??!!!

  • Who's that GUITARIST?

  • @newaccountdebzbd

It's their brother Earnie, the one in the cape.....

  • No mattter how many pages you click on when you get to this one you have to stop let it play all the way through. Almost 40 years later and it is still HOTT. The rhythm guitar, Ernie's solo, Marvin's bass and the percussion...this jam is always a party waiting to happen. The only problem is that I think it's too short!

  • huh not so bad for jazz but not a big fan of it thow but its okays in my mine so i say good

  • the brotha with the white hat on just knew he was smooth pimpin, lol.

  • That lady was my Mama! The women cant stand her but the men love her, lol. Hi Mama...Classic!

  • lil wayne would never come close to making as good as this song is, he should just stay locked up in the penn. for making his crappy music.

  • im soo into this right now...

    :)

  • let's dance and get laid

  • this is music.....for all generations. Hell I break to this.

  • nice jam from old school ok.

  • Ron, I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship

  • Name one artist today that can replicate this kind of music...its ufortunate the big companies dont allow true muscians on the air waves...

  • I just hope the Isleys still own this song and that they made money on the commercial.

  • Lol the swifter commercial am I wrong?

  • i love this sng!!!!!

  • Part of getting old is remembering the songs you listened to while growing up.

    This is one for me.

    What a great sound. Smooooothhh...

  • Ernie is tearing that guitar up!!! Play that thang, Ernie!

  • ahhhhhh que c'est bon..... excellent

un pensée énorme pour Marvin Isley.... R.I.P

  • ahhhhhh que c'est bon..... excellent

  • Looked at my picture and this song popped in my head. sheaow

  • A bowling ball, mop, flamingo, oh ya baby

  • Very cool tune! It really captures the high quality of soul/funk from an era that is 1,000 times better than most of the stuff out these days. Cool threads? You betcha! Most of the clothing in the photo was made by the legendary North Beach Leathers in SF. Everyone wore their threads: Santana, EarthWind&Fire, The Stones, Sly Stone and many others.

  • i bought six swiffer vacs cuase of this awsome song!

  • Omg buy a swifter!

  • Wow, that lead guitar up front, is doing excellent pickin!!!

  • its like a party in my ears and everyone's invited!!

  • this song helped me talk to girls that were just passing by, how could u not get down to this jam!!

  • Ah, this is just top drawer!

This reminds me of the month I spent in an Outward Bound centre at Holne Park in Devon during October-November 1973 and radios were banned. Someone smuggled one in, and this was often heard on Radio Luxembourg of an evening together with 'Ring Ring' by ABBA and 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' by Elton John.

  • Does anyone on youtube know's if this song is on Guiter Hero for the PS3?

  • I have a PS3 and i believe it is.

  • Thank's Nathan. I have one too. Hopefully it's on that new turn table's game because I'm going to buy that one next. Later!

  • :) Sweet post!! Thank you and to Resonantforce for sharing!

  • :o) xo

  • Awesome AXE, Trowerish is a good parralel. This version kilsl the shorter AM radio version, amazing they were into good rock guitar too. Their other nice slide guitar song (so unlike the mainstream) was their cover of "Summer Breeze". Find it, it's a good one, like this.

  • That is one SICK guitar jam... very Trower-ish!

  • great post! its hard to find the long version of this one! thanks

  • Man this beat got my fro bumping man they look fly big ups to the dude with the fro on the far right 78 was the shit
