and than in the last episode when he realized that this judge was responsible for Trudy's death and he pointed with a gun on him and said "tonight, i'm the judge"... that was legen-dary... also the scene at the end on the beach when Trudy's daughter told him to keep on, cause "there are many other Trudy's out there"... LEGEN-DARY ;)
Tony Shalhoub did a very great job. The way he embodied Mr. Monk was just awesome, respect... and thank's for the time i and so many people all over the world had the pleasure to enjoy. The series even got an amazing and dignified end and i'm pretty sure i wasn't the only one who felt like he lost a well known friend. For me it's just like the song says, i miss him.
How most people who met him kind of judged him because of his behavior without knowing what he's been through...
