hmm... so i guess the point is that media interactivity makes us more individualistic, less thoughtful about society and therefore worse citizens?? i think the prolific amount of people using community and social networking sites / groups would beg to differ. what about all the people who swap their stuff on dublinwaste or jumbletown for instance?
I don't really get what part of that shows interactivity to be evil/dastardly.
Also, is the implication that facebook/youtube/flickr were designed with an agenda in the same way that a government might make construct an education system? Sounds like a bit of a conspiracy theory. I would have thought that they just became popular because people liked using them.
