Android pwns. They shoot video in HD. No stupid ass antenna issues when you try to talk on your phone but you're holding it the wrong way so the call drops. It's run by google, who basically owns the world. So android is clearly the superior choice.
And yes I HATE when companies come out with a new product right after I buy their new one... that happened to me with the Droid. But I love my Droid.
People say that iPhones are better but I think androids are better. Better screens, bigger screens, still have 10s of thousands of apps, MUCH more customizable, MUCH more fun to look at and play with. Faster internet due to tests. Flash, so you can view youtube right in the browser, and play fun games that you cannot play on the iPhone. It's really up to you but I do believe android is better.
Just remember this fun fact about Apple iPhones, they have the most used browser and internet in the entire smartphone pie chart. Over 100,000 apps in the App Store, including atleast 1 app being added A DAY! Music capabilties and more.
The only issue for most seems that Adobe Flash doesnt work and is not compatible, but its cool because unless you need a huge porn site running on your phone, most websites make iPhone compatible browser sites so that you can access your amazingly awesome stuff!
iPhone 4, which is the current phone I have, is pretty amazing, now say your on AT&T or VodaPhone or whatever damn Canadian carrier you have. The iPhone serves its purpose as a great phone, which a lot of cool features, especially now that the phone has almost completely blocked out the need for jailbreaking unless you need some unnecessary features. The Android phones, as well as BlackBerrys, are phones built for nerds, by nerds, and they aren't going to come in handy if you (GO TO REPLY)
need to use your phone in a hurry. You need to scroll and click way too many buttons and icons just to get to your dialpad or camera. The iPhone had two buttons, a power button and a home button. With one click of the home button and then wait a few seconds and click it again, your at the main home screen and you can go to the camera, or with the feature of docking other apps and commonly used features, you can get to your dialpad and camera in a hurry.
Think about it... iPhone 4 was available in Canada on July 30, so, assuming they have a new one every year, it's still gon be a wile. I got one, (and watched this video with it, lol) so, yeah. You should buy one.
FMLL, please dont get android its the worstt or dont get an iphonee 4 its to delicate it breaks to easily i dropped it and it broke so i learned my lesson and wore a case it cost $230 to fix, my 4 year old brother dropped it with a case on and it broke again. and I cant get wi-fi I need to be right nexxtt to a router and since your always playing apps the battery dies in 30 sec iPhone 4 is the biggest disappointment and this is coming from and apple "fan boy" save your time/money and get a BB.
If having the latest and greatest hardware is important to you then I'd say wait until June for the iPhone 5. If not then the iPhone 4 won't disappoint you. The display is enough to justify it. Although some of the newer Android phones like the ones from Motorola and HTC are very, very good phones too.
Honestly, the difference between Android and iPhone depends on what you want. Reasons why I personally like Android better: I hate Steve Jobs as a person. AT&T has horrendous coverage...everywhere. And when Google rules the world, I need to be on their good side. I feel these are all valid reasons.
