I hope they come up with a better looking version! I heard the engine in this concept is supposed to be high horsepower and great gas mileage but we shall see if Chevy makes it for sale to the general public.

I am a corvette nut and I love this car and if GM is going to attract younger buyers then a route like this is what is needed. Sadly corvette has become a " granny sports car". The average age of purchase is 50 and not because of the price b/c there are young buyers who will spend $50 grand on a car but corvette is not as hip as it once was. In 1972 the average age of a corvette buyer was 26. Hopefully if something like this makes it then corvette will become "hip" again...

I've heard that if they came out with it, it would be a $250,000 dollar car and will have a 850HP engine in it, but I dont know if its true. Would be alsome if they did though.

doubtful gm would price the corvette that high and with 850 hp you never know with the next gen small block with direct injection a lot more hp is possible but if it ever came out it be my dream car

I LOVE this car! However, I fear that it might be another GM car where the concept car blows people away & only about 10 percent of the ideas make it into the production car. Appearing in transformers makes me hopeful but I'll wait & see what actually shows up at the dealer.
