Yes it was stealed by Russians but we can't lose a piece of history and about the unification, A. I. Cuza was a candidate in both Moldova and Romania, he won the elections in the two countries and that's how it united with Romania, it was a murder. In 1991 we got the independence then shortly were in conflict with sepatatists, for what we fought ? To unify with you ?

There's another thing you should know. Moldova is both the name of a region in Romania and the name of the Republic of Moldova. The Rep. of Moldova used to be part of Romania but the USSR has taken it during WWII. After the collapse of the USSR, Moldova became "independent" but it still has been ruled by Russians since that time. We Romanians say that Moldova is "a pure-Romanian nation ruled by evil strangers". Now "Moldavia" only means the region in today's Romania. Moldova's not Moldavia.
moldovans also use the cyrillic alphabet and the romanians use what we use in the west could a union occur? and would Rusiia ever allow that to happen?

There's another thing you should know. Moldova is both the name of a region in Romania and the name of the Republic of Moldova. The Rep. of Moldova used to be part of Romania but the USSR has taken it during WWII.
