I believe in the Republic, as you do, but I realize where most people are coming from when they speak of 'true democracy'.. Most people are simply misinformed. You should count them as an ally first and then go about explaining the terms to them. I am not allergic to the word 'democracy' like many people I know, because I see value in the democratic process. Its just that it should never supercede the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

01keef, your thinking is a bit stinking. If you want a republic then you speak republic things with republic terms with republic meanings. You don't wander away from that for a second. We were to chain the government down with the constitution, but we lost the key in just such nonsense as I've mentioned above. Your Bill of Rights hangs by one half of only one of them. The rest were ceded long ago.

The point is that the government, is the source of the illegal drugs, and are not trying to stop them from coming into the country. Since the war on terror is phoney in the first place, there is no need for the level of security in place at airports. The satellites can see through into your house, the satellites are to spy on you..not the terrorists. The terrorists work for the government. There are plans being discussed to put cameras in everyone's homes.
