I hated the way Gilbert was running all night. The announcers made it closer then it was! A fighter that fights in spurts and then triesto run and hide, deserves to lose! Brinkley came to fight! I am gald that he won!

This was a great fight and when I read comments like Gilbert was a queer,that's plain BS if you ask me!!!!!!

They had very different style, getting a broken nose for Gilbert and fighting to the 12th round is nothing short of being amazing.

Brinkley' power spoke in the 3rd or 4th round but it was really close towards the end.

And I don't think Brinkley is a stud,far from it!

man this fight was so boring. I actually thought it be a good fight and it turned out to be a sparring session for brinkley. Joey was all talk and even got knocked down and once his nose bled he fought like a scared rabbit.

trust me people, gilbert ain't got heart. at least jesse looked more like a fighter.

It was a great fight, they both walked away beaten up pretty bad.

Of course, to really appreciate the sport of Boxing, you need to be in the ring.
