Alliax plays the chromatic and makes beautiful sounding music. I really like his Titanic theme song. Is it possible to duplicate such a sound with a simple diatonic? Check out his video and see what you think.

I didn't see the movie so I don't know the song. Alliax was one of my first heroes on youtube. He was technically proficient...and he wore underwear on his head, LOL! I have had a chromatic D for 28 years, so I'm not completely ignorant to them. I can play the starspangled banner on a diatonic by bending, on the chromatic I just push the button, but I don't mess with it enough to fairly compare the two in action in any given song. NTJ
