  • NOTE: Libera me is a part of the Requiem Mass of the Roman Catholic Church, as such it is in Latin.

  • Part 2:

The day of wrath, that day of calamity and misery; a great and bitter day, indeed.Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon them.Deliver me, Lord, from eternal death on that awful day.Deliver me, O Lord, when the heavens and the earth shall be moved;when you will come to judge the world by fire.Deliver me, Lord, from eternal death on that awful day.

    Deliver me.

  • Translation:

Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death on that awful day, when the heavens and the earth shall be moved:when you will come to judge the world by fire.

I tremble, and I fear the judgment and the wrath to come, when the heavens and the earth shall be moved.

  • I like this song

  • i really like it!! but i think it could've done better if u didnt add the lyrics in randomly. but overall i love the idea of evanescence videos with this song, its an awesome collision!

  • Rachmaninoff - Vocalise

  • One of the saddest and most beutiful songs ive ever heard...sniffle..lol...Great post Loveisfading666.

  • this video is great!!

I love the movie interview with the vampire and I love this song!!

and evanescence is the best band ever...

  • please, can anyone send me this song?

  • libera me domine de morte aeterna

  • Beautiful soundtrack! I liked the book better than the film, really, but the artwork and music was just beautiful! So haunting!

I love Evanescence too. Everything about Amy is beautiful!

  • Can someone send me this? It would be much appreciated!

  • I love this song.. nice video, thx!!

  • Wow...this is a truely amazing video AND song. Good job =)

  • the song at the end is the Lacrymosa by Mozart, no problem. But this "Libera me" is very strange... Who is singing? and where does it come from? It's really good with Evanescence's videos.

  • Read the summary!

  • Like in the summary, it's from the film Interview with a Vampire: but it is actually sung by The American Boy's Choir.

  • Lacrymosa and it's in Latin easy to understand if you've taken any of the romance languages

  • How do u know what the words mean?

  • research. There's a website dedicated to Anne Rice's "The Vampire Chronicals" and everything produced from those works.

  • I LOVE Interview with the Vampire!

  • Art is from within and you've embodied it!

  • I really like it a lot! I'm a director...well..going to college to be one, and I think your work is great! I really think the song fits with the mood and the tone of the video. Keep up the good work! Oh, and this is meant in a good way...but I would watch this movie if I were angry or sad. I think it just has that spark to it. Nice job!

  • Awesome Video.. simply put.

  • Very interesting video, great choice of music.

You should check out the choral requiem "Miserere Mei Deus" by Allegri, which is the much longer (and much older) piece of music that "Libera Me" is based off of. You can find a few videos of it on YouTube, I think you might like it.

  • What is the song at the end of this? It starts at 2:48.

  • Mozart's Requiem, "Lacrimossa(sp?)"

  • Absolutely love libera me its so fantastic!

  • I really like it! Good work! Love the song and love Evanescence.
