AMEN, i always LAUGH at the rich folks that come in and sit right next to me with their fur coats and whatnot and I KNOW they paid a gillion dollars to see the show and get those seats, and im in front of them with my jeans and tshirt and paid a third of what they paid LOL.

i VERY much agree w/ the recasting comment for in the heights...it's like rent, they just made roles that would be so hard to remake...lin manuel miranda is my hero lol.

i totally object your comment on not buying tickets when they aren't on sale prices!!!! Broadway tickets are so worth it for about 150 bucks!!!!! Imagine working as a broadway actor!!! It is so hard! They deserve to get that money! I could sense that you are not a true broadway lover!!... more of a broadway hater!!!!! PS- DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY!!!

WHAT??? true broadway lover? what does that mean, it is all theatre not just on broadway. And I am not opposed to 150 tickets but I can't be spending 150 on each show. I got to see 6 shows for 150... so I think that's more of a bargain and people need to know about it.

just because someone wants to see a show for less doesn't mean they don't like broadway. sure they deserve the money but bargains are great to see more shows for less. ....you're a jerk

when i saw in the hieghts, the long hair girl (haha) wasnt there. her understudy had really short hair. a bob lol SHE WAS AMAZING!!!!! if you watch vids of it, she's an extra. omg what an amazing show

hey i just watched all of your reviews and AHHH I REALLY WANT TO SEE GYPSY, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, AND IN THE HEIGHTS!!! um can you review spring awakening and legally blonde? i really like to hear what you have to say and those are my favs so i would love to hear what you think about them. oh and I LOVE A CHORUS LINE!! i saw it 3 times the tour with nikki snelson and she kicks ass haha and on a random note, so does patti lupone

Andrea Burns in ITH was from the original cast of Songs For a New World... I actually saw it just because of her and Robin de Jesus was Michael in the movie Camp... have you seen it? It's hilariously campy but some of the original music is really good-- the lyrics are by Lynn Ahrens of Ragtime, Once On This Island and Anastasia fame :D

You absolutely have to see the songs from passing strange in the context of the show. They don't work out of context. It also helps to be smart.

you are so totally right personally i think that it is really hard for a person who like wrote the music or scripts or something to be in the show because they typically are better actors in it because the story line and it's success is so much more important to them i think and once it is time to recast them the person who takes their place in the show is not as passonate about it and the people can tell so many people may be dissapointed not because of bad acting but loss of passon

Your reviews make me laugh. in the good way. I'm curious to see what wins this year because I have seen ZERO of the nominated shows. but especially interested to hear your opinion of Alter Boyz because I have seen the show twice and knew nothing of it, but was so charmed by it!
