Dana loves the fighters that help the sport grow. If its because they make him personally more money? Well to be honest I dont think so, it is at least not the only factor. He doesnt need more money. What I do think is that he needs is fighters that can make the sport he loves grow.

Dana White has been in the right place at the right time with investors behind him. Dana is McMahon of MMA, he can mock Vince as much as he wants but UFC is pushing pro-wrestling gimmicks. Get a heel, get a babyface, hype it and collect the cash. People pay to see guys like Lesnar, Koscheck, Sonnen get in the cage. Some love them, others pay to see them get beaten. But they are all paying nevertheless. Thats what counts. Love for the sport is bullshit, it's called love for the money.

@Grim28 I disagree. The fighters are fighting because they love it, the UFC just pays the most. No fighter ever got into MMA to make money because the odds are heavily against it. People pay to see a good fight, thats what they want and thats why they are pissed when they don't get it. Dana tries to bring the best fighters he can find together, and set up the best fights he can please the fans. And yes money is a factor but the fighters love what they do and Dana wants to make the fans happy.
